Hello

Pretty happy considering I paid just 800€ for it instead of 1k+

EVGA 980 SC for years now. Thinking of upgrading soon

Gonna wait a few more days to see if I can score a vega on the cheap, otherwise I'll probably buy a 5700.

Zotax GTX 1080 Extreme.
gonna get aonther and SLI if these RTX 2080ti prices dont move

>SLI
Look into microstutters and double check any games/software you want to run actually support it.
SLI is pretty much dead now but you might get lucky I suppose.

Just got it a couple days ago for a new build, but I've been having tons of issues with SteamVR. I was already on the fence about it, so I may just return it and grab a 2070s instead.

980 strix i got recently for £100 and it’s pretty good for what i play on 1440p

XFX stock cooler Vega 64, undervolted to 0.9/0.9 before homeowner's insurance can crack down on it.

Looking to get one as well and use it with a vive, what issues are you having?

Not a gamer, it's still good enough as a daily driver and casual gaming for stuff that I do play (like Arma 2 and 3). Might actually try to OC it, I'd just need to do a volt mod on voltage controller and it should be able to go up to 1200-1300MHz

Attached: gb.jpg (600x378, 93K)

What sort of temps have you been getting. I've been hearing toaster stories about those blowers.

yeah you should return it and get one of the the AIB ones in August. Fuck the blower fan.

who /bangforbuck/ here? goys need not apply.
My 390 died on me so I went and got this bad boy for around 120€ on black friday. I refuse to upgrade in these dark times - fuck current GPU pricing. Still runs everything I throw at it just fine and even does high fps at 1080p in Siege (around 120fps on average).

based /bangforbuck/ bro.
Excellent choice, literally the only card I'd get right now at around 250€, but then again, I'm fine waiting.

Lmao you can get 75% more performance for double that price. Even in the darkest times there's a shimmer of hope left. Besides it's not so bad at least there's no mining hype right now. Remember those prices?

Please dont laugh

Attached: 81HnhJvTW-L._SX425_.jpg (425x319, 20K)

Well, I bought that card 8 months ago. RTX wasn't out yet and Vega 56/1070 Ti was more like triple the price. The only other choice I had was a 580 but it didn't seem to be worth the extra 50 bucks. 570 was the undisputable performance/€ king.

Im not sure what I was thinking, really...

Attached: small_radeon_vii_2.jpg (626x429, 176K)

Yeah imo it's the only card right now that's worth getting. 570 obviously has better performance / price ratio but I don't really see the point in getting a low-mid 1080p card from 2016 in 2019 anymore.

Yeah 8 month ago it was the only sane choice.

Audio and mic don't work on my Index, and I'm getting some bad screen flickering when I try to enable audio. Might only be a problem on Index though since it's confirmed that R9 cards like the Fury I used to use get a black screen.
Just got the build together last night, then I wasted a couple hours trying to get VR to work, so I haven't actually gotten to play anything on it yet.
If I hadn't gotten it for $350 on that Microcenter deal, I would've just picked up a 2070s instead. If the AIB cards are much more expensive than the reference cards, I'll probably pass.

Strix RX 480 4GB, can't be bothered to post the image.

well once somebody finds a use for 16GB of HMB you'll be set.

watercool if with a custom loop and you can get close to 2080 ti performance

Well you weren't thinking. You're probably as braindead like those tards that buy the best available nvidia consumer card every year.

Well use higher res images, preferably almost 4mb so all fags with bad connections need longer to load. Otherwise that card was a decent choice in 2016.

Who here 8 cores + rx 560?

Attached: 1562605295509.gif (382x554, 2.57M)

>570 obviously has better performance / price ratio
not anymore, I think it's Vega 56 now. Pic related is for 1440p, they obv didn't include 580/570.

Attached: firefox_O2x1fHmD80.png (1920x1080, 752K)

Tard. Shit card. You'll commit suicide soon.

Attached: Screen_Shot_2019-01-24_at_3.23.42_PM.jpg (494x268, 38K)

... Vega costs double of the price of a 570 and has less than double of its performance. Now if you need a chart to figure out which has a better performance / price ratio you should seriously consider repeating elementary school.

It's pretty comfy, I dont really gayme

If you don't game why do you even have a "modern" gpu? Don't tell me to power your 8k screen.

Just bought the RX 5700 XT 50th Anniversary GPU for my first PC build. Should be here next some week. Very excited!

Eh maybe he had some like 2005 tier hardware that nowadays hardly cuts it even for web browsing..

Way quieter than the EVGA FTW3 model that I used to have.

Because it was 50 buck brand new

The cooler isn't bad but it's still kind of a gimmick, and it's got really annoying coil whine. Had to dampen the shit out of my case.

512MB was the best during 8000 series though, 640MB was g80.

I have i7 9700k in the pc and a 2080ti a ssd 512gband 16 gig ddr4 3200 mhz. I guess thats the most important things.
How long will this pc last?

got this for a bargain around 9 months ago

Did these guys get arrested?

Hey, calm down with that blue language. There are kids here.

You should honestly just grab a 2070 super and pretend that this card doesn't exist. The blower model is trash and AIB models will cost about the same as a reference 2070 super. At that price point, the 2070s will net you better fps in games and allow for ray tracing.

Attached: 96e1051b_de563985_7870-ghost-1-580x435.jpg (580x435, 51K)

X not XP. Had extra money at the time and was SUPER pissed when they put out the XP...then the mining boom price hike came along then RTX and now 3 years later it doesn't seem like such a bad buy, lol.

Attached: nvidia-titan-x.jpg (600x400, 29K)

Yea you frickin frick should stop picking on other people. Thats wrong and immoral. This is 2019 you trump supporter!

>AIB models will cost about the same as a reference 2070 super
I doubt all custom RX 5700 XT will be 100€ more expensive than the reference card.

why do you niggers always post stock photos?

>blacked and overcocked
sounds right for nvidia

>Worse performance than a 1080ti
>Costs more than the msrp of 1080ti from 2 years ago
>Less power efficient and louder

What the fuck were you thinking? Did you even look at benchmarks before buying?

#NeverObsolete

Nice. I used to have a couple of XFX 7970's. Probably my favourite looking gpu series I've ever owned.

It's showing it's age and cpu too (i5 4670k) but I'm still not upgrading.

Attached: five_pictures4_3477_201506182002595582b37360a73.png (380x304, 123K)

the 2080 is as strong as the titan xp so you paid 3k just for a obsoete gpu a year later

Why do I seem to be the only person in the world with a RTX 2070

1200...and I needed more than 8 gb of vram

Yeah GCN will be immortal, especially that RDNA is really just rebranding, it's as GCN as GCN can be.

Noice

Attached: 1562783681426.png (800x800, 586K)

and the 2080 came out 2 years after the X (2016 to 2018)

The blower card beats a 2070, and I got it for $350. I'm still going to return it for a 2070s if I keep having issues, but I doubt the AIB cards will cost as much as a reference 2070s. I think they might cost enough to ruin the price/performance though.

Attached: 1537571399778.png (940x720, 376K)

even the radeon vii is better

For 30$ it was a killer

Hello there

I have 2 GPUs in my system.
First one is a GTX1060 6GB. Best value IMO.

Attached: 1016187712.jpg (1000x717, 93K)

And the second one is this little fucknugget.
ATI Rage XL 8MB. Costs $1 on Ebay, and works for pretty much everything DOS-based. Great for backwards-compatibility.
Also it has drivers for Windows 3.1. No more 640x480 16 colors.

Attached: 81BKFYv8--L._SX425_.jpg (425x425, 21K)

Paired with an i5 650. Runs most games surprisingly well, only upgrading in 2 years or so

Attached: msi gtx 770.jpg (800x600, 56K)

Really?

Attached: untitled-33.png (676x982, 64K)

honestly KFA2/Palit/PNY usually make really good cards that are less expensive than all the others, with good cooling and performance
don't think I'll be buying from other brands anytime soon

Honestly I just bought this three weeks ago just so I can take advantage of EVGA's stepup program. In all it's going to cost me 40 bucks more, but at least I can do some mental gymnastics to defend this process instead of outright buying a Super 2070.

Still using GTX 980 with 4GB Vram.
Could upgrade up to 2080Ti, but 20xx is a pretty concerning generation in my opinion, not enough RT support yet, and even with RT ON it tanks the performance insanely hard.

People who own 1080Ti since the release are the true winners.
I didn't really need 10xx with my full-HD 24" screen, but now that I've upgraded my monitor, GTX 980 is barely enough to even run some games on low settings.
