Asrock and Gigabyte have 1002 agesa bios ready, only 1003 are in beta but from 1001 agesa you alreadly get support for 3rd gen ryzen.
Not all MSI boards support 3rd gen because their bios chip are fucked, it doesn't fit the entire bios so they are getting ready to launch a "lite bios" for those boards.
Asus only said that they doesn't have official support for the 3900X on OLDER boards. where most of them are just 4 phases so using a 3900X will probably max them out and could be dangerous to use it for extended periods of time. You can still put them to work.

My R5 2600 has been able to run Persona 5 at a locked 30fps at all times for ages. It can even run it at a locked 60fps most of the time with the patch, though it drops to ~35fps in the school and city. Same goes for Breath of the Wild on Cemu, which gets well over 60fps at all times (often over 100fps).

Emulation dorks are just fucking retarded and kept insisting that Ryzen was bad for emulation regardless. It's nice that people are finally waking up, but it's not some revolution brought about by Zen 2.

Just as good as my i5 4670k I got years ago.

P5 is pretty light, here's my 1600 at stock in le demanding area other than central street. Not rock solid, but definitely playable and 30fps everywhere else where it would actually matter (but not really since it's turned based jrpg).

Also avoid the 60fps patch for P5. It breaks a lot of animations, but nobody seems to believe me despite evidence.

As a Haswell user this comment is too funny. I already have my 3700x and my mobo ready to go but I'm still waiting on NVME drive, my corsair memory and Noctua NH-U14S to arrive.
Also Asrock mobo is currently at BIOS ver 5.10 and ill have to flash it to 5.60 but that's no biggie.

1. You're emulating various subsystems of the ps3 (PPU, SPU, RSX etc.) virtually that does the processing. Its way more inefficient than running game code natively.
