Of course not. We're not even close to getting any 8K media, so it's useless in that regard.
And that resolution would be too taxing for basically everything except for general desktop use.

4K is still considered high en on PCs, let 4k became standard on PCs before pushing 8k monitors
On TVs tho push 8k all day, 4k has been the standard for years now
