Firefox webrenderer is innovation brave is just reskinned chromium.

b-but the swjs!!!! user!!

see. exactly as we predicted. brave is about expanding an advertising network, not about increasing user privacy and control. when you use brave you are part of a literal adware botnet, and for what? 10 cents a year in BAT. it's the fucking farmville browser for zoomers, and it's nothing but a few tweaks to chromium, with its ad network and proprietary cryptocurrency distribution system baked right into the browser, collecting data about your habits on every single site you visit. it's just trading brendan's telemetry for google's telemetry, except it's a literal fug'n ponzi scheme.

Chrome and chromium are even worse and gnome web or eolie need some real development. Pick the least evil. And gab is just a boomer torbas reskinned brave, nothing good.

>pick the least evil
>use a browser that makes every user part of a distributed advertising network which tracks your every move
Pick one and only one.

Otter browser, Icecat, and Vivaldi are better. Firefox, Falkon, Waterfox, and Midori are better. Hell, plain chromium is actually better. Why? Because they are browsers built to be browsers. Brave was built to distribute and serve advertisements, and popularize the cryptocurrency that Brendan hopes will expand the ad network even further. Brave's raison d'etre is telemetry and advertising. Without these things it would cease to exist. Its adblocker is shit too, especially compared to ublock. Brave on mobile is also fucking loaded with telemetry (just look at their github commits, there are thousands related to embedding telemetry frameworks and "improving" user tracking), and it doesn't even support extensions. Need a mobile browser? Use icecat, use firefox, use kiwibrowser (they actually support extensions too). Need a desktop browser? Use anything mentioned above.

Brave offers no perceptible benefit to the average user when compared to other browsers, and it takes advantage of the ignorance people like you have to its grossly shady business model. Its issues cannot be mitigated either, as it is pathetically lacking in configuration options, just like google chrome. It simply cannot be locked down, and you have no control or understanding of what ad+telemetry-driven monstrosities the devs are continually baking into it. It does not matter one iota if they claim the data is anonymized, sanitized, or mostly locally stored. Microshit, apple, and google say the same type of shit. Disagree? See the paragraph above this. Yes, other browsers have fuck ups, but Brave's existence is directly dependant on a centralized cryptocurrency-driven advertising network, and monetizing the web.

Tldr: If you use brave, you are what Richard Stallman calls a victim co-perpetrator, and an irrefutably subliterate idiot.

>not available in tacoland
fuck them anyways, was about to pump a buttload into BAT this week but nah

Is it more than 100 dollar per month ? If not then this was exclusively built for Indians and retarded teens which seem to be brave main demographic

1 BAT is valued at just under three US pennies (coinbase.com/price/basic-attention-token). Not only that, but according to the Brave team itself:

>Users can donate the BAT earned from viewing Brave Ads to their favorite websites, YouTube creators, or Twitch streamers. Soon they will also be able to redeem BAT for real-world rewards, such as hotel vouchers and gift certificates via TAP Network’s 250,000 brand partners.

So the user probably can't even cash out, and is only meant to spend their BAT on rewards with Brave's affiliates. Like coupons. Become part of the new monetized web today!

If Belle Delphine takes BAT i'll do it.

So essentially BAT is only there for Brave itself (the company) to make massive rewards and then cash out a tiny percentage of the reward ad retarded vouchers.

Wow. Whoever falls for this shut deserves to be expelled.

That's definitely what it looks like according to the Brave blog. I bet the affiliates and content generators can cash out their BAT though, obviously.

I actually wish the mods would leave this thread up so everyone becomes aware of this kikery. All Brave “enthusiasts” are literally paid advertisers. A fucking browser powered by influencers.

EXACTLY

mods plz sticky this

How can I game this for free crypto?

Read the fucking OP you senseless mungeon, and this:

advertising must be purged for the internet in order to save it from becoming teletext 2.0 - a wasteland of irrelevant nonsense, kept afloat by porn

Keeping this bumped

>meanwhile, on

Sick of brave bag holders shilling this Ponzi scheme on Jow Forums.

Should be forced to only talk about it on biz with all the other retards.

google rewards is decent get 2-3 every 1-5 days

lowest 10c AUD highest was $4 something but rare. But literally one question and you get 20c in your play store account, got like $40 atm good to burn on apps i wouldn't otherwise pay for like KWGT shit .

Apple users get paypal cash out but bit meh

You have to register as content creator, you can use your regular Youtube account for that, don't even need to upload any videos. You can then donate the earned BAT to yourself and trade them.
