Wow really?

>AMD releases new vastly superior architecture that uses the same 7nm node that is in EXTREMELY high demand and has much higher margins
>It is somehow a surprise that this stopgap pipe cleaner product made from scraped workstation and server cards isnt going to be produced anymore

Does that mean we'll be getting a 5800/5800XT considering radeon vii can compete against rtx 2080?

Why produce it at all

>stopgap pipe cleaner product
READ NIGGA READ

the trademarks have been filed, so probably sometime next year, there's a 5900xt coming too

navi got delayed multiple times and they needed to put something out to remain somewhat relevant

>lets just dump this product on market soe we can keep pmakiung money!
dosn't sound very consumer friendly to me

>navi got delayed multiple times and they needed to put something out to remain somewhat relevant

AMDrones see nothing wrong with and will DEFEND it

AMD is a business not a charity

>I love taking it up the ass from corporations

weird flex but ok

bad things that halt production happen sometimes, it sucks but there's not much you can do about it
like intel's 10nm that should have come out over 3 years ago
i'm just happy that amd is on it's way to closing the gap instead of lagging far behind, like they have been in the gpu space
competition is good for the consumer

>no you don't understand AMD had to screw over their customers!

nice strawman you got there
also nice trips

Your welcome.

>that is in EXTREMELY high demand
whatever helps you sleep at night

>taking it up ass
Nobody told you to lube up your ass and bend over.

They offered a raw compute card for a high price. The price was a good deal for certain people and bad for most. Most did not buy it. They did not lie about it's capabilities out their future plans. They did not change any conditions after it was sold, or lock people into using it through deceptive contracts.

The only way putting a product up for sale screws someone over is when they are too impulsive to not buy every new thing.

This applies to anyone selling anything.

Look in a mirror, NVIDIA user

intel does something to earn money:
>Happy merchant milking goyim, COPE, x doesn't matter
AMD does something to earn money:
>AMD is a business not a charity!
Never change drones, never change

I don't see the problem.

It was the sputnik of graphic cards.

People having VIIs that end up breaking will be getting replacement cards that are 5700-non-XT since they are performing similarly.
The fifference is that the 5700 runs at lower wattage.
The 16GB vs 8GB is the only real downside.

t.1070 owner.

Definitively way higher demand than Radeon VII
