Would up caving a few years after it was introduced, in 2015, and it's been much more pleasant since.

I think the 2015s are considered the "best" before Apple started making stupid decisions, and they're also becoming pretty cheap now. I have a 2015 Air that I use mainly for browsing/ssh-ing, and it works pretty well. The Pros of the same year are apparently pretty good. If you really need to get a Macbook, that's probably the line to go with.

It's by far the most powerful and customizable window manager, and although it's done in Haskell, it's not hard at all to cobble a configuration together by looking at other people's examples.

The most cusomizable is probably awesome.
