Owen Sullivan
Isaiah Kelly
2000aud in 2016
biggest waste of money
Jordan Lee
posting in a thinly veiled porn thread
John Lewis
lots, over the years. even counting how rapidly it depreciates my computer equipment is probably worth more than my car.
Aaron Baker
like 2k usd can play anything in 4k meanwhile I'm playing shit like original xcom and diablo 2 instead
Nathaniel Sanchez
I blew 3200 dollarydoos back when ram and gpus were overpriced. I didn't want to wait any longer the framerates were killing me
Andrew Torres
I wouldn't pay that much for a computer now as we are still in the dark ages of gaeming.
Luke Long
By now $1250. I was using a GTX480 I found in a closet for a little while but I just upgraded to a Vega 56.
Charles Rogers
About 1500€, including 200 for the screen and speakers.
Considering how much piracy I did it's not that much.
Brody Richardson
Under $600 in 2016. Was meant to be stopgap, but ended up more than I needed.
Jacob Ramirez
>2700x
>5700xt
>16gb 3600 cl16 on the way
>1tb nvme + 2tb SATA SSD
>playing fucking Gothic 2 NotR
Maybe bllodlines 2 and cyberpunk 2077 will be good...
Ryan Turner
At least $2000.
Gavin Anderson
$1800
Chase Campbell
i want to lick that tummy
Mason Cooper
I bought my current PC for 700 € a couple years ago.
Jacob Jones
about 7 years im 23
Wyatt Murphy
Nearly £1,000, it was worth it
Dylan Rodriguez
$1300 back in 2012
Easton Ross
About 1500 € back then. Mostly because of the 4790k and the GTX 980. Also bought a second SSD later for 160 € I think.
Good thing is, I still don't really have a huge need to upgrade it.
Jonathan Hall
Around 2k aud in 2010, 200 aud last year
Plus about 600 over the years for extra drives
Julian Young
Several millions if you account for the fact I could've done something productive instead of wasting my time here
Jordan Peterson
about $400 in 2015, though I reused some parts (PSU, case, SSD / HDD)
crazy to think I haven't spent a dime on it since then
Charles Bailey
in usd, about 2500 ~ 2800 for 2600k rig but it lasted this long so bretty good
Caleb Cooper
a bit over 1200 eurobux 8 years ago + 160ish for some more RAM
still going strong, I'll probably use this bitch for 8 more years
Leo Morgan
800 + 230 + 40
so 1070€ for my current and first build
about to drop 1,4K on new build
Jackson Powell
2k for entire set up(computer+keyboard+mouse+2 monitors)
Xavier Thomas
tfw just buy overpriced laptops because always on the move and don't game (just consume heaps of /tv/ and /mu/ and stream /sp/)
Angel Jenkins
Over five years:
1300€ in components I'm currently using
425€ in components I've upgraded from and haven't sold or thrown away yet
65€ in components I've broken (ASRock H87 Pro4)
John Howard
$2000 when it was new, but that's when RAM and GPU prices were inflated. Definitely going down a cheaper upgrade path as there were serious diminishing returns over my original $1000 build
Eli Gray
I will buy new parts for 2500€
Adam Gomez
I'll be doing this. If the GPD Win Max is the same size as the GPD P2 Max, then I'll pay the premium for one of those. Sure, given what the price is I could probably get a 1660ti or 2060 laptop for the price of it, but it's pocket sized for my suit jackets if it's the same as the P2 Max, and the vega 8 is good enough for what I want to do on it.
Samuel Nelson
About three hundred each over the last 15 years. Four head Debian media center plus a couple smart TVs.
