Reasking Is there a proper way to scan that all system files are signed by the proper key or have the correct sha256 hash without trusting the installation I want to scan? It seems like if an installation was affected by rootkit installed deeply enough to modify system files that the rootkit would also modify SFC and DISM to falsely report that the files were verified.

You'd probably want one of the antivirus bootable/rescue cds (well, technically more like usbs now) instead. Look around the various AVs, many provide such tools
Christopher Phillips
Is it normal that WIN10UI takes hours and does multiple runs? this shit takes forever
Landon Morris
yeah it takes a while
Adrian Bennett
k but why does it do multiple runs? it already did the updates two times, with one of them taking ages
Jeremiah Clark
my guess would be dependencies, updates depend on some other updates. but take this with a grain of salt
Benjamin Carter
I'm now at "enabling feature(s)" something new, it seems keeping on going
James Barnes
I need a 98se key. For my vm. And 56gb ram shenanigans.

>Install KMS seco support only for existing file 64\SppExtComObjHook.dll (avrf) what the fuck does this mean
Charles Thomas
if KMS_VL_ALL >= version 30 is installed it automatically enables support for office.
Elijah Garcia
well it installed, didn't respect my language preference so it's in czech now, how can I fix it?
Hudson Bell
So W10UI has finished but I have no image (still the en_windows_10_enterprise_ltsc_2019_x64_dvd_74865958 folder) and Optimize-LTSC doesn't do anything
Matthew Ortiz
Oh, nevermind, I ahve to edit the Optimize-LTSC cmd first Still I have no image, only a folder
Nathan Diaz
are you sure the new iso is not in one of the folders that you used? I had the same problem
Lincoln Cooper
yes W10UITemp andW10UImount folder are gone automatically
>qwant Pozzed frog shit. They remove """hate""" results.
Matthew Miller
As far as i'm aware they only remove literal terrorist content. That's quite literally illegal to have in France, so not like they have a choice.
Anthony Gray
First time back on this site in years, where the FUCK can I find HWIDGEN?
Or some sort of windows 10 activator that isn't KMSpico? What happened to KMS38? Mydigitallife has very little useful information. Jesus christ, I just want to activate windows 10 without paying microsoft a single penny.
Liam Flores
try using KMS_VL_ALL, linked in paste. As for MDL, the KMS section is hidden to show only for registered users.
Elijah Sullivan
Thanks, I'm skimming the code now. KMS VL ALL looks pretty dope. I would however prefer HWIDGEN, and I cannot find it anywhere.
Cameron Phillips
AiOWares still has thread up, but its register only. well, the important parts anyways
>backup outlook mails in a pst >import the mails after a fresh install >it only backed up one account, hundreds of mails gone
Wow I'm pretty sure the stupid program even allowed me to select both mail accounts in the export window. Why can't they just backup both accounts at once or atleast put a fucking disclaimer there notifying you of their poor design choices. Thanks microsoft.
Brody Evans
did it and works perfectly thanks everyone but this W10UI shit is really not worth it
David Anderson

Is POSReady 7 spyware-free?
Bentley Nelson
Is ameliorated.info a meme?
Jeremiah Myers
yes, disabling updates is a very bad idea
Connor Wood
Well they may have achieved to eliminate the botnet but the cost is no more security updates so yes it's a meme
James Barnes
How do I get POSReady 7? Will it continue to receive updates after Windows 7 dies?
Alexander Sanders
>How do I get POSReady 7? see paste >Will it continue to receive updates after Windows 7 dies? yes
Dominic Stewart
The new .iso should appear on the desktop.
Luis Stewart

What is the clipboard manager for windows 10?
Nicholas Torres
Alright I see all this botnet and privacy shit that Windows fuck you up with but can someone give me some examples of this? Like where is this shit in software or in the registry or some shit?
Nathan Brooks
I mean, just Google it. There are a thousand clipboard managers for windows. Ditto is great but there is one already installed nowadays, just check the settings app.
Cooper Torres
Damn bros why did ccleaner have to get JUSTed There's no good replacement for it
Austin Lee
Just get a torrent of it. If you have an older version of Windows then it will work well for it.
Alexander Roberts
For older versions of windows it is contained in the updates. Before updating anything you should always read the dev notes about that update. If the update is vague then don't use it. Others are obvious when they list "telemetry."
Like for Win7, here's a list I've compiled from other anons on Jow Forums,
-------
>Win 7 Updates to Avoid
KB2876229 SKYPE, If you want Skype then install it. KB3075249 Update that adds telemetry points to consent.exe in Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 KB3080149 Update for customer experience and diagnostic telemetry KB2977759 - W10 Diagnostics Compatibility telemetry KB2970228 - Update to support the new currency symbol for the Russian ruble in Windows KB3068708 Telemetry KB2506928 KB2545698 (IE9) KB2592687 KB3021917 KB3068707 - Customer experience telemetry points KB3065987 KB3050265 - Windows Update service updated to accept upgrade to W10 KB2660075 KB2923545 RDP KB3050265 KB2726535 KB3022345 Replaced by KB3068708 Telemetry KB3022345 Caused false sfc result KB2952664 x2 KB3044374 - W8,8.1 Nagware for W10 KB2990214 KB2994023 KB3035583 KB4493132 - Last "update" notifiction that there won't be any more updates.
>Anyways, here is a list of updates which are suspect (I think...)
The program groups on my DOS 6.22/windows 3.1 setup get corrupted randomly (sometimes there are corrupted groups that become good again). Weirdly enough, there's no other data or programs that goes bad on the HDD. Is it a commong problem with this window version or my installation is simply fucked in some way?
could be random io error because dying hdd, or some other program trashing memory, etc.. you should probably independently check the disks health with some modern tool
Kevin Campbell
I've tried it but it doesn't allow for whitelisting cookies or cleaning the registry
Xavier Roberts
Is chocolatey worth it or just a meme?
Wyatt Gutierrez
It's great but very messy. Use scoop + extra bucket instead. It's like homebrew + cask on macOS but everything is portable and stay in your user directory.
Tyler Lee
Thanks for the advice, I'll try the check-up. Are there some tools you'd recommend and that could run on DOS?
Austin Reed
Did 98 come with device manager? I had to use NT4.0 recently and hardware was a nightmare.
So I got the english consumer ISO and my target svf (which is es-mx, yeah I'm a third worlder). I use the command for Smartversion and I'm greeted with an IO error, that it can't find the es-mx consumer ISO. I though I only needed the english ISO source and we could use the SVF patch to get any target ISO? ISO+SVF have to be the same language or I'm missing something?
Gabriel Williams
How do you set the kernel timer to fire every microsecond vs. every millisecond? >why Don't worry about it.
Andrew Bell
which windows (version, edition) are you trying? could be misgenerated or multilevel svfs, i'll check
Thomas Cooper
Yes. NT was its own can of worms under different interfaces up to NT 4.0. On the other hand, I tried to add a MITM certificate recently for a TLS interception-and-upgrade proxy (a joke to make bots masquerading as IE6 supporting TLS 1.2 an actual reality) and was hard pressed how to do it in Win98.
(Me) nvm, figured out you must be talking about LTSC. 1. Download the iso from the linked site 2. Apply es-mx SVF from #Consumer (EN to XX) to get es-mx consumer iso 3. Apply es-mx SVF from Consumer to LTSC to get es-mx LTSC iso
Liam Ross
I'm trying LTSC from the paste, 1809 feb 2019. Already have the ISO and the SVF from Consumer to LTSC, but didn't know about EN to XX. Gonna try it and write back.
Leo Wilson
Tried hard disk sentinel for DOS and it told me disk was in perfect condition (kinda nice for such an old disk).
Logan Wood
Should i migrate to win 10 from 8.1? From a privacy standpoint mainly, but also from a performance one. My main reason is im having issues setting up mysql...
James White
Worked like charm, thanks.
Justin Turner
Use wise registry cleaner for the registry.
Jason Adams
How do I debloat and de botnet an existing windows installation? OP mostly talks about making an ISO.
Why? Win10 is so much better bro. I advice you to go win10, because it's so much better. You look really like you need my help bro!!
Julian Cooper
Worth using LTSB over LTSC? Performance wise.
Dylan Gutierrez
It doesn't look like it but you can ask them on discord or something.
Angel Clark
Is win10ui supposed to close the terminal window after starting the process?
Leo Turner
Windows 10 (32-bit) requires a system with a processor with PAE/NX and SSE2 extensions (Pentium 4 or Athlon 64 or VIA C7 class or higher), at least 1 GB RAM, 16 GB of storage, a DirectX 9 compatible GPU and a screen with a minimum resolution of 800x600. Windows 98 works on a fraction of these requirements.
Jeremiah Perez
Just ordered a completely new system and the motherboard only supports Windows 10 so I'll probably go with LTSC since it eliminates forced shutdowns.
Does it include the classic taskbar start menu as an optional setting or does it force you to go into a separate screen every time? And do I have control over my processes and services or does the system simply turn unnecessary stuff back on if I try to shut off everything except the processes that are actually needed to run the OS.
>Does it include the classic taskbar start menu as an optional setting or does it force you to go into a separate screen every time? that hasn't been a thing ever in windows 10, the metro screen shit is a 8 thing. > And do I have control over my processes and services or does the system simply turn unnecessary stuff back on if I try to shut off everything except the processes that are actually needed to run the OS. LTSC won't turn back stuff afaik, its usually feature updates that can do that.
Landon Diaz
I have about 90gb of data mostly pictures to be transfered to another windows 10 device. Normally my boomer ass would just transfer all these into an external disk, then hook it up and transfer to another computer, but are there any recommended ways/applications to transfer directly using WiFi?
is there a windows xp thread? How the fuck do you activate xp sp3? I tried those registry edits that come up on google and it will appear to work but always fuck up after a month.
Ethan Moore
Jeezuss, what are you autistic? You can use an FTP client or just connect directly to your other machine through win10 and transfer files that way.
Share a drive with both machines and transfer away.
Parker Smith
wifi is a bad idea, is slow. if both computers have gigabit ethernet that'd probably be the fastest. zip in the files, share folder zip is in (in properties dialog), plug the computers into each other with an ethernet cable, see ip on one with ipconfig, type in the ip into the other computer's explorer window like `\\` and just copy the zip. the zipping is needed because transferring more files is a lot slower than a single big one, you can leave it out if you think the disk is too slow.
William Edwards
>muh privacy in 2019 Really nobody cares about your loli porn stash and the $300 you have invested in crypto. Use the damn thing that just werks or take far more pain in exchange for slightly less botnet with loonix
Josiah Nelson
SMB is probably the easiest. Too bad I think they turn all that off by default now because users can't be trusted to not expose things on LAN.
Camden Miller
no its still default enabled, just nothing is shared
Dominic Price
>Finally cave in, install Windows 10. >large folders take over a second to load I'm going back to 8.1
