Yeah and? Every Linux distro I have installed is a server OS or Ubuntu or Debian which you can pretty easily run as Server OSes. Maybe the only non-server Linux Server OS I have is Kali which also can make you bank by teaching you pentesting.

You can make good money with Linux by developing on Linux even if you don't touch the servers themselves. Makes sense to develop using the same operating system that you're going to deploy your shit onto.

Everybody should at least know their way around Linux given how fucking pervasive it is. It makes a compelling argument for using it as your primary platform. You should at least know how the fuck to use Linux because if you spend any period of time interested in technology and never touch Linux you're basically wasting your life on consumer electronics garbage while never becoming useful.
