R5 3600 and 2070. 100$ isn't worth it for 5-10fps on average.

Wait until next year, or later this year op.

3600 and 2060 for 1080p, 3600 and 2070 super for 1440p

3600 and rtx 2070 super or 5700XT

I'd say just go for the 2060 Super. The performance is pretty damn similar and the 2060 is 100 bucks less. Oh and to be clear there is ABSOLUTELY no reason to buy the 3600X over the 3600. Even the B450 boards can OC the extra 5% you would gain over the regular 3600. Just save yourself the 50 bucks.

There ya go. Saved you 150 bucks in 1 paragraph. Now go the fuck back to that gay normiechan site and don't come back.

>R5 3600
Enjoy your CPU that lasts 2 years and won't make it to another GPU.

>2 years
Nigga, I ran an i7 4790K for YEARS and it was perfectly fine even when I upgraded last week. Considering the R3600 far surpasses that thing, there isn't much to worry about. Besides, GPU choice is far more important.

Intel + Nvidia

>8700k levei of performance won't last 2 years
Terrible bait famalam. I'm using a Xeon from 2010 with a 1070 and there's only a handful of games that dip below 60 fps at 1080p. The R5 3600 will last at least 2 GPU replacements

Don't trust any answer here as they're likely 12year old summer fags.

Even if true swapping cpus on am4 is super easy, you don't have to change anything else. Just don't do it the moment they launch a new architecture refresh if you don't want to become a betatester, wait a few months to have a stable bios

I'd go for the 8 core, had I in mind two gpu replacements (that sounds a long time to me).

This.
Also lads don't forget that a ryzen 6 core consists of two 3 core parts. So when scheduled correctly tasks of one game should stay on one ccx if possible. You can also do this manually in windows and also semi automatically with a bat file.
Having 3 or 4 cores for one game can make a difference.

I'm still running that same i7 with a gtx980ti

Granted I'm still at 1080, but I plan on dropping like 3-4k on an entirely new setup.

get one of the new AMD GPUs when partner cards come out next month, cheaper and better =/= to the super versions.

for gaming you are always better getting a better gpu.

There is not a chance in hell that any game is going to max out a 12 thread cpu in 2 years.

I'm still on my 1600x and it's been fucking amazing since. I can see this lasting much longer and the 3600 even longer. CPU's last a fucking long time honestly my dad still uses a core 2 duo E8400, doesn't do well with any modern gpu but it still does the light gaming and heavy amount of programming he does on it.

3600 + wait for rx 5800/5800xt

3600 + 2080S
t. 3700x + 1080 ti

3700X+(aftermarket) 5700XT (with RIS)

>CPU that lasts 2 years
Intcelturd projection everyone

>2060 Super

That shit is a scam. Navi is better than that card and overclocks way better (almost 2070 super performance)

Just get used parts for less money. None of the games these days are good. Only a few game in that picture of hours is good and they came out a while back when.
