Look at the sponsors on both is a pretty lengthy list and you see them everywhere when there is actual work getting done.
Fedora is good but basically its only sponsor is Red Hat, which doesn't need sponsors itself.
And is used by a lot of upstream developers outside of Red Hat.

It's pretty much the best of both worlds. Just works (only thing I had an issue with was the amdgpu driver wasn't installed by default), secured with SELinux, sponsored by a large company so it's not going away soon.
If you can ignore/explain away the somewhat cringey name it's the ultimate GNU/Linux distribution. I've been distrohopping a lot but I'm intent on sticking with Fedora 30 Cinnamon.
