Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo P
build like a tank, MATX, looks nice
I like Fujitsu too user.
Here's mine.
it looks like someone took an external 5.25 bay and scaled it up, i love it
also look at the absolute classic that is pic related
Yeah I was lucky to find it.
You talk about the Scaleo being built like a tank? That front panel is 3mm cast aluminium, even the drive bay covers are thick powder coated metal. The whole thing weighs nearly 35lb. It's a P2 era case which still stands up today and will never yellow because lolnoplastic.
holy fucking shit, do you have a model name for that case? i need it in my life
I remember when Sun did those Sun Ultra PCs. Always wanted to find one of those Sun Ultra 24 cases in a nice condition so I can put my PC components in it.
I had one of those versions. Case is nice and sturdy but didn't case for the BTX motherboards. Also didn't like how cooling was limited but a fan can be mounted to the back vents even though there was no mounting area for a fan.
Definitely those Sun cases
Unfortunately not, just search Fujitsu Cordant and ye shall find.
They did a desktop variant too ;)
thanks for the tip user, will keep my eyes peeled (i love horizontal cases)
>Sun SPARC workstation
>PC
PA-RISC + HP-UX is better though
Wikipedia has a whole category dedicated to HP workstation porn

mah man
bump
Personally for me it would be the old dell/sun workstations
I want to go back
Pic related Compaq Presario 4505 from 1997
Dedication
That is fucking cool
I have a T3400
Mid 2000s aesthetic
Been keeping an eye out for those ATC cases for a long time, but I can never find one for a reasonable price.
They look really nice.
based
kino coming through
PA-RISC hardware kicks ass but Slowlaris was always so much more usable on a desktop, sucks.
I wanted one of these so fucking bad when I was 5
Would it be based or cringe to take an old beige PC case from the 90s and use it for a new build? Assuming ATX standard is used, which I'm not even sure of.
this little 486 LGR did a video on I thought was neat. They made a pentium version of it as well.
>all that effort for what looks like some gutless (even for the time) PIII/P4 trash
>that blue LED
what a waste, should have kept it a SPARCstation even if it was the shittier and more common of the range, probably still had some useful life left in it back then too
That's actually really flipping nifty, user.
if you're this clueless about it then definitely cringe
Wish I knew about those before LGR made them into a hot meme. Guess they're still cheaper than a Multia.
that's factory dude
absolutely not I will shit in your mouth
>OP says PCs
>people post RISC UNIX workstations
Lol
I also have that exact fucking case and its fucking massive, it fits eatx motherboards as I got it in 2012 with a dual socket 771 motherboard. But some of the front plastic at the upper part is missing but I don't mind the look without it, still have both side panels so I might cut out a piece and add some glass and modern hardware
Had one of these a long time ago, the SGI 1600SW was the first pure digital LCD display and it was fucking glorious, it still is actually.
Pure visual sex, seriously.
>get a cool looking desktop PC
>its power supply blows and i cant find a new one easily because of its volt limitations and its retarded form factor
>cable management is physically impossible
fuck i hate old PC cases. why did they have to look so good but have such retarded inside?
Cable management is a meme in the real world.
Not exactly that old but I still use this bad boy and think it's very sexy.
>airflow is a meme
i guess if you hate quiet computers
unless you have 27 IDE cables, it doesn't matter, air does not fucking care
