no we didnt

yes, (((we))) did

FUCK
YOUR
AD-DRIVEN
TELEMETRY-DRIVEN
WEB-MONETIZING
CRYPTO-COUPON-SHILLING
AD-BLOCK WHITE-LISTING
FALSE ADVERTISING
CHROME SKIN

no one here uses brave, except for paid shills. now go back to rehddit you scum.

Yes give your data over to the Zucc and Peter Thiel

Then whats better?

Seething firetranny

Google

no matter how much you shill for your scam of a company called Brave, it will be out of business within 2 years

Browser suggestions?
Asking legitamently

Otter browser, Icecat, and Vivaldi are better. Firefox, Falkon, Waterfox, and Midori are better. Hell, plain chromium is actually better. Why? Because they are browsers built to be browsers. Brave was built to distribute and serve advertisements, and popularize the cryptocurrency that Brendan hopes will expand the ad network even further. Brave's raison d'etre is telemetry and advertising. Without these things it would cease to exist. Its adblocker is shit too, especially compared to ublock. Brave on mobile is also fucking loaded with telemetry (just look at their github commits, there are thousands related to embedding telemetry frameworks and "improving" user tracking), and it doesn't even support extensions. Need a mobile browser? Use icecat, use firefox, use kiwibrowser (they actually support extensions too). Need a desktop browser? Use anything mentioned above.

Brave offers no perceptible benefit to the average user when compared to other browsers, and it takes advantage of the ignorance people like you have to its grossly shady business model. Its issues cannot be mitigated either, as it is pathetically lacking in configuration options, just like google chrome. It simply cannot be locked down, and you have no control or understanding of what ad+telemetry-driven monstrosities the devs are continually baking into it. It does not matter one iota if they claim the data is anonymized, sanitized, or mostly locally stored. Microshit, apple, and google say the same type of shit. Disagree? See the paragraph above this. Yes, other browsers have fuck ups, but Brave's existence is directly dependant on a centralized cryptocurrency-driven advertising network, and monetizing the web.

If data isn't kept locally, you should be able to find the source code that sends it, no?

Firefox or ordinary Chrome/Chromium, no point of using Chrome under the control of a scammy company

Threadly reminder

Attached: BraveFUDBTFO.png (1023x2253, 190K)

you go plow through the hundreds of thousands of commits you dumb faggot.

here are just *some* telemetry commits for brave (and this is just the very tip of the iceberg):
- github.com/brave/brave-ios/commit/a9ada0c8595144c86393e67b06b2ee9d49ccdc08
- github.com/brave/brave-ios/commit/dca2bf35c7910012aae60f0d017be6adb9f64076
- github.com/brave/brave-ios/commit/44b7d542a65da24d53f6abe7c3925375756dc426

- github.com/brave/brave-ios/commit/072be4098809e7439f7c6819ad7bfeb837976ba7
all you have to do is search for terms like 'telemetry' and 'tracking' on their github repos. the results look endless.

some discussion about it on rehddit of all places, and brave's forums as well:
- community.brave.com/t/feedback-is-security-a-joke-with-brave/27618
- reddit.com/r/brave_browser/comments/bdhxho/is_brave_telemetry_always_on/

Threadly reminder that brave users are easier to track

Attached: 1553259576332.png (1406x1878, 87K)

Tor seems like its always pretty slow.

Memefox needs its plugins to work.

Which is better Vivaldi or Otter?
Also what search engine should i use with it?

it's amazing how these threads rapidly fade away and never bumped once a good user shows up an exposes Brave's big scam

Those exact threads you link refute your point retard and that first one isn't even relevant it's some dumbass whining about extensions and DDG on the old Muon version

Im actually really glad yall showed. I almost got duped for brave.

>Vivaldi or Otter
vivaldi if you want hassle free browsing experience with a lot of configuration options and a less botnet version of chromium.

otter browser if you're freetarded.

Does adding a vpn into the mix increase my privacy?

A vpn should protect my info from the ISP right?

no. they don't. either learn to read more carefully or fuck right off. "added telemetry probe" etc...

also, stop shilling:

also also also:
1 BAT is valued at just under three US pennies (coinbase.com/price/basic-attention-token). Not only that, but according to the Brave team itself:

>Users can donate the BAT earned from viewing Brave Ads to their favorite websites, YouTube creators, or Twitch streamers. Soon they will also be able to redeem BAT for real-world rewards, such as hotel vouchers and gift certificates via TAP Network’s 250,000 brand partners.

So the user probably can't even cash out, and is only meant to spend their BAT on rewards with Brave's affiliates. Like coupons. Become part of the new monetized web today!

You conveniently left out this one... oops.

All these are addressed here >1 BAT is valued at just under three US pennies
Who the fuck cares

>So the user probably can't even cash out
Site owners you tip can and users will be able to.

You conveniently left out the very next sentence.
>Brave is also working on an option to let users withdraw BAT from their wallets for personal use, converting their BAT to a local fiat currency through exchange partners.

Why are you so invested in lying?

Attached: 53.png (743x174, 15K)

Oh and would you look at that - the very first release on the iOS GitHub page was 6 months after telemetry was removed from that repo. It's almost like it was for internal testing.

>Who the fuck cares
it's useless.

>all these are addressed...
with lies.

>Brave is also working on an option to let users withdraw BAT from their wallets for personal use
sure thing. let us know when it happens.

>It's almost like it was for internal testing
yes. internally testing the telemetry that users are subject to.

Cope

Brave BTFO

dilate, seethe, have sex, incel, tranny etc...

>Chromium-based browser has 10 layers of telemetry
That's why I use Pale Moon

user wtf. That's top bait for bravecucks. Use waterfox instead.

Firefox is a scam too. Even with custom .js file Firefox privacy is a joke

Waterfox is still Mozilla botnet. Pale Moon is almost free of Mozilla code in recent years

No. It's been tested by king autism on spyware watchdog. He's extremely thorough. FF with proper configuration is a privacy and freedom-respecting browser. Chromium literally needs to be modified at the source level and recompiled to reach such heights. Further, firefox isn't trying to monetize the entire internet in order to push some proprietary / controlled cryptocouponcurrency.

>No. It's been tested by king autism on spyware watchdog.

Default Firefox is just as bad or worse than Chromium. Besides editing the js file is far from ideal
Mozilla is indeed involved in partnership with Ford foundation and other New York jewish controlled organizations

Attached: Rambe Tramble.png (1252x1128, 519K)

Editing the user.js file or toggling options in about:config is far easier than modifiying thousands of lines of source code and recompiling. User.js is always obeyed.

>ford foundation jews yada yada
And you're telling me that Google isn't massively kiked up AND colluding with various alphabet soup agencies? Fucking lulz. You're insane. At-least mozilla isn't in partnership with government agencies. BTW, a lot of brave devs are danger-haired sjws and jews. Look for them on twitter. Buncha lowensteins.

>Buncha lowensteins.

She's a grade A bitch. The only good Jews are right-wing isolationist Israelis (a la Meir Kahane).

jannies really should just start deleting brave threads and handing out IP bans associated. no one uses this shit. no one wants this shit.

Speak for yourself, I use brave on mobile, firefox on desktop.

they probably have a hidden partnership with this shitty company. Jow Forums has to generate money somehow, shill threads are paid ads that bypass adblockers

Daily reminder that Brave is funded by billionaire right winger Peter Thiel, who once said his goal with Palantir is to create an omniscient Web of info for the State.

And?

gorhill (uBlock Origin) is a left leaning mozilla fanboi and sperg, am i gonna stop using his excellent add on because of his political views?

Hell no!

Tf is brave?
If you care about your privacy:
Chromium + duckduckgo + noscript is a good first step

You're reading way too much into this kiddo, the truth of the matter is some of us like brave, that is all.

I'd have thought so if you would stop posting the same shill thread everyday multiple times, Brave isn't a unicorn, it isn't Google, it isn't Facebook, it isn't Slack, why is it on Jow Forums all day long? This aggressive marketing camping has been implemented here on Jow Forums before with DDG and some VPNs. The inexplicably high rate of "positiviely" posting about these for-profit nobody low quality products cannot be explained unless this is a paid marketing campaign.

No one in their right mind would want to shill or do a marketing campaign on Jow Forums or anywere near Jow Forums
In this case we're talking for defamation, and nobody wants that for their product.

>why is it on Jow Forums all day long?

It's a form of shitposting, if you stop responding to these types of threads then you won't see them so often. they crave for attention, and you give them exactly that.

>No one in their right mind would want to shill or do a marketing campaign on Jow Forums or anywere near Jow Forums

that's only if you're a big and respectable company not a literally who scam of a company like Brave that begs for every new customer to report back to their investors

>le shill lion
Fuck off and die nigger

DuckDuckGo

>1 BAT is valued at just under three US pennies
What a stupid fucking comment. One yen is 0.0093 US, so does that mean the yen is worthless?

Whats the logo for the last browser for

Tor

Compare it to even moderately popular cryptocurrencies you worthless cunt.

What a stupid fucking comment. It's #33 in market cap, the metric you should really be looking at, on Coin Market Cap.

What an idiotic fucking cockgobbler.

>Thinking that BAT will ever go anywhere but down.

Even Brave's advertising partners are dropping like flies, just like the value of the coupon-coin itself.

Oh.

only people who promote brave are cancerous content-creators & greedy companies, who doesn't deserve any money
