Kuroba 4.5.1 is out! :fire: github.com/Adamantcheese/Kuroba/releases (installation: download Kuroba.apk under "assets") >Note that all of your site settings will be ERASED by this update and will need to be reset manually. (So you gotta relog if you have a Jow Forums pass)
>How is it different from Clover? Please read the cumulative changelog for all features/fixes from Clover: gist.github.com/Adamantcheese
My settings weren't removed after this update, it stayed the same.
Caleb Anderson
Kuroba lags a lot after this update and archived threads don't work anymore. This is literally the worst Kuroba update ever.
Adrian Morris
Time to bully cheese again.
Noah Reed
THE DIMITRY REIGN OF TERROR STARTS RIGHT FUCKING NOW
Jacob Turner
I don't have the keys to sign the release apk so no update until cheese wakes up.
Anthony Thomas
>archived threads don't work anymore Already fixed. >Kuroba lags a lot after this update And apparently this fixed as well since I don't see the lag anymore. But it was lagging for me too. Dunno what happened but it doesn't lag anymore. I think it was lagging for me because I was downloading the sticky thread in /a/, that had like 10K posts in total, just to see what will happen.
Julian Watson
So after this archived thread api error fixed, can we still download archived thread k1?
Dominic Edwards
Who the fuck is even maintaining this shit anymore.
Justin Robinson
Why would you want to download an archived thread? No you won't be able to do this. If I were to implement this then I wouldn't be able to figure out when to stop downloading a thread since it will be in the archived state for god knows how long. I use either 404 status code or "archived" state to stop the downloading.
Hudson Thomas
I thought we can use it for offline viewing later? Wasn't that the point of downloading thing?
Hudson Lopez
Well, yes, once it stops downloading. Before this you can't. And there is no point since you can just view the live version of the thread.
Zachary Flores
Why is this problem? When you press download in the archived thread then it'll download the whole thing and stop immediately after it's done since it's archived. I'm not a dev so I might be missing something obvious.
Daniel Hernandez
What if there's an archived thread that you want to download before it goes 404 (but haven't downloaded when it was live) ?
>If I were to implement this then I wouldn't be able to figure out when to stop downloading a thread since it will be in the archived state for god knows how long. Since the thread is already archived you know there won't be any new replies so you already know when to stop downloading, the number of posts to download = number of of posts in the thread.
Julian Jenkins
1. Why is the UI for replies a light gray and now takes up the entire screen? 2. Why are bookmarked threads' names smaller on the sidebar?
Jaxson Clark
Well, I didn't think anyone would need this so I didn't consider it while implementing this feature. Now some things will have to be rewritten for this to work.
Lincoln James

James Williams
Well. I want this. I hope you're considering it. Offline viewing is godsend and what I want/expected most from download/archived feature. Thanks k1
Carter Cox
Well, it can be implemented some time in the future. Not right now, though. First we need to fix existing bugs.
Samuel Moore
Clover is so much better.
t. Flooens
Thomas Cooper
ok I forgive u cheese. thanks for finding urself again
Eli Cruz
Wow I didn't know that we can't even open thread we've downloaded offline if it's not archived/404 yet. Why are you doing it like this?
Caleb Hill
t. Cheese
Grayson Miller
Well there is the live version of the thread so why would you need to open the local version?
Robert Garcia
I think K1 was doing this solely for 404 theread since it makes no sense otherwise. He didn't expect people (well, some minority anons) actually want to download a thread for offline access whether it's archived or not.
Lincoln Lopez
>downloading cheese
Asher Smith
Offline, believe it or not it's still a thing. Can't be online all day sometimes.
Justin Reyes
Someone please upload 4.4.4 because 4.5.1 can't into archived threads
Parker Hill
Is there a way to export my current bookmark list into a text file or something before I update?
But 4.4.4 is full of bugs too user. Use 4.4.1. Unfortunately can't upload it right now. Maybe some kinder user will do it.
Eli Flores
Yes, since forever.
Juan Richardson
If they don't please do it when you get the chance. Thank you.
Evan Parker
this is like >why download porn/manga/music/movie anything when you can stream it full HD online Preference really.
Liam Harris
>emoji :grinning:
Jace Green
The tardbegging for a-million-and-one features has already begun If you value your sanity and don't want to hate phonetards, stay out of these threads K1/Cheese/Floens/whomever
Hudson Wood

Blake Collins
Nevermind I was able to view the archive via chrome and found that someone had linked it. I will never update Kuroba ever again.
>dickcheese is afraid of threads >meanwhile Floens fully embraced them and even had a script to scan for his name and notify him >dickcheese codes any garbage people ask him and accepts any pull request without question >Floens categorically told people that what their wanted was garbage and never put shit features into the app >dickcheese code is always garbage, each bugfix introduces 2 other bugs >Floens code is basically perfection, he never managed to release stable versions with serious bugs >dickcheese makes le funne hahaha epik for the win pranks to mess with people when they say mean things to him >Floens was always professional, and didn't give a single shit to trolls The chad Floens and the virgin dickcheese.
Brandon Allen
Why does autisticcheese delete the apks for the old releases?
Fuck this shit. I guess that's it for me I can't fucking do anything because of my video card that keeps crashing my system every time I open literally anything that may use it (Can't even listen to music on youtube). I will never buy AMD video card ever again. So the "API parse error" should be fixed along with the lag and couple of other bugs. I wanted to also try and implement offline thread viewing but can't because of constant crashing. Now just wait for Cheese to merge the fixes and release them.
Better than Clover because it doesn't crash when downloading an image
Aaron Baker
Works on my machine

Install Gentoo

>emoji support >some emojis dont work dickcheese.........fix..this........right....now....
Benjamin Evans
Why am I getting API parse error on old threads?
Jayden Adams
I will wait for your offline thread viewing. BASED K1.

Is it true that dickcheese can't do anything right without k1rakishou? Oh right, he can at least do EPIC MEME AND JOKES.
Nathan Jones
All the current bugs are because of shit K1rakishou added
Levi Reed
>Note that all of your site settings will be ERASED by this update and will need to be reset manually. no fuck this, I'm not updating until you learn to convert settings
Dominic Richardson
>API parse error Can this motherfucker release a single update without breaking something?
Joseph Wood
>Can't even listen to music on youtube Why would someone do this. Get deezloader
Brandon Martin
That's a tall order for dickcheese. Tone it down user.
Carson Scott
Getting sick of this shit too, I'm waiting for the next Clover release and not looking back.
Whatever happened to 8ch boards being listed just like Jow Forums's? I remember this being added, then removed again. What gives?
Blake Gonzalez
virtually 100% of all users install the dev version. Floen's clover is years old. Can't he just compile the apk and test it quickly enough before pushing an obviously broken update?
Joseph Brown
I think it downloaded the whole DB of boards and was taking up tons of space
Josiah Morris
So is that ugly light grey going to be permanent now?
Jose Green
I have 4.4.1-dev installed I can back it up for you
Jaxon Campbell
I got the file, what meme hosters have not shut down
I already swithed back to clover atleast things work here. Some dumb niggers releasing updates without testing , feels like that nigger just sees it compiles so its all good.
And a stable version. And he actually focused on fixing bugs instead of just adding features non-stop
His dev builds are released by commit. He doesn't willingly compile shit and release under a version number like dickcheese.

Thank you user :100: :100: :100:
Mason Lee
can you fucking fix the text formatting already?
Dominic Price
>His dev builds are released by commit. He doesn't willingly compile shit and release under a version number like dickcheese. So this just means that he commits broken code into the development branch instead of keeping it in his own branch until it's done. I don't see the difference here.
Jaxson Hill
You dumb fucking retard, read the release notes
Christian Diaz
Nice one dickcheese, but it's not the same thing. His dev builds are not even meant to be used since he releases stable versions. Every single commit he makes generates dev apk, which means that even tests on the dev branch will generate a build. Cheese on the other hand look at all commits, and when he judges it's good enough for a release, he makes a fucking release. Not to mention that he even deletes other releases so you are basically forced to always download the latest version unless you compile your own shit. He's a fucking hack.
David Ward
>Every single commit he makes generates dev apk That's not how it works. Commits are stored locally until you push them to some remote. Which means that you have to intentionally push your commits into a specific branch first and only after that the CI will be triggered and an apk will be built. So if he pushes commits into that specific branch it means that he thinks that they are good enough.
