You must pay tribute

>when your routers start demanding the sacrifice of your first born to work without needing a restart every week

Why would you ever restart your router? What shitty software do you run on it?

>to work without needing a restart every week
but i use pfsense on x86 hardware not your shitty gay routers full of shitty gayness
ur gay

I run OpenWRT on mine so it gets rebooted after each upgrade. You don't HAVE to upgrade it but it's nice having security updates.

Enjoy your nsa backdoor

>xe thinks xe can hide from the nsa

Peace trough power.

T. Assumer

I fucking hate that lately it is required to make a rain-dance to get hard- and softwares work. Fucking incompetent developers.

When are they gonna come out with the UEF and Aeon designs?

based NOD router

>not using Enterprise grade equipment

>have a router literally named the EDGEROUTER-X
>it looks completely normal

but it transmits non edgy data fine

Enterprise gear requires work
Sure, piecing together a network with good access points, Ethernet plates in every room with a dedicated router will yield infinitely better results but literally no one wants to do that, they just want something they can plug in, not configure a thing and be able to stream netflix on the shitty smart TV on the far end of the house

I thought people were into technology on a tech board.

I turn mine off every time I turn my PC off. Which is all the time.

Why are you even on Jow Forums?

Not everyone is ready to go full autist with their network
I have a Linksys WRT1200 router with DDWRT and Ethernet is ran to devices that need it
It's good enough for me

I wasn't talking about me specifically I was just spelling out the reasons why these 8+ antenna monstrosities exist

You said
>they just want something they can plug in, not configure a thing
I thought people on a tech board would be into networking and want the best experience and just like tinkering.

Interesting poster.

Thanks, probably should have moved it before I put the rack in the way.
