There is literally zero corrupted frames/playback on MPC-HC. You can't say the same for VLC, therefore VLC is inferior, since it's only purpose is to play video and it can't even do that properly.

This is the most efficient don't @ me if you disagree. VLC and MPV don't handle webms with repeat enabled as well as MPC. This also means your configs will never overlap so depending on what you're doing you can have a different experience. So I can have exactly everything I need to be shown while watching streams, aka nothing. And while my MPC does have repeat enabled for movies, it's not like I watch credits anyway.
