I'd say so. I bought a 2560x1440 27' gook monitor in 2014 for 170 USD.

Yes, I have an 1080p 27 monitor and wish I had went for higher ppi

Yes

yes

Honestly I cant even stand 1440p at 28". I have a 24" 1440p monitor and thats great. Hoping to get a 32" 4k someday to keep increasing PPI.

I have a 27" 1440p monitor.
It's perfect for everything

yes

anything below 192DPI is for blind rodents

not at all. i own a hp pavillion 27xw 1080p, and its the best monitor i ever had.

tried all.. 144 hz, 4k even...

the 27xw is the only real glossy monitor that you can buy at this size, and it looks fucking perfect. overclocked it to run at 72 hz as well. 40 cm away from the screen 1080p at 27 inch is perfect .

Yes. I regret it quite a bit. Looks like shit. 1440p is worth it all day.

same
24-25" 1440 is acceptable, everything bigger needs more resolution IMO

Ur blind.
Yes, you can even run 4K at 27" if you have a good eyesight.

yes
t. someone who has a 25" 1440p monitor

I'd go for 1440p at 27". 30" would be ideal for 1440p without scaling, but barely anyone makes those and 27" is the next best thing.

Yes.
Had 1080p 27" before 2011.
Fucking terrible.
1440p 27" is the bare minimum in my opinion.

iam using an old Benq G2220HD for atleast 12+ years now, a 22inch monitor...
i just found a Dell U2414H for 100 yuropoor bucks. the sellers pictures look like from an office...
i don't play games and when i do it's just some normie shit to kick time like LoL once every 2 week
i do lots of photography and this dell gives me 96% srgb accuracy which is more than good

is the Dell U2414H worth it ? or are there other Dells out allready i should check for ?

1440p is far better for 27". 1080p (I have one) is somewhat too blurry/pixelated. It's not intolerable, but it is noticeable.
1080p = no more than 23"
1440p = no more than 27"
2160p = no more than 32"

Dell u2414h for 100€
Or
Dell u2415 for 150€
What do Jow Forums ?

4k is good up to 43”
Same density as ~22” 1080p

24" 1080p 75hz is the sweet spot for monitors. You can find some legit ones for around or under $100

U2415 because 16:9 is fucking garbage
I have the U2412M and at i'm pretty sure this thing will easily last me another decade

Where can you find it for 150 ffs, it's 300e in my country

second handed user

looking for 28'' 4k cheap one. recommend me some

yes
i can see fucking pixels on my 1440p 27" monitor
i would kill myself if it was 1080p

Yeah. I would go with 1440p for 27-32 inch.

feels good having bad eyesight and saving money

1080p looks like shit even on a 21.5" monitor

must suck to have bad eyesight and not be able to afford what you want

27" 1440p is perfect imo. Stuff is a comfy, usable size at 100% scaling. I'd rather see pixels some than have to set scaling that makes a bunch of apps ugly or broken.

I have a 4k laptop with a 15" display. Even at 200% everything looks way better. Text is way more crisp. I haven't encountered anything that looks worse. I don't know how you could use anything below 4k on a larger display after using 4k.
If you're only watching media then that's a different story. I change my tv to 1080p when using my HTPC since most content is 1080p and don't want to waste resources on upscaling all of the time.
