Work as intended.

Can you repeat the question?

Keep playing audio after the music player process was killed. iTunes on Mac OS X 10.5 on a PC.

Nyet.

10+ years of uptime

>cmd opens for a split second and closes

Same.

Make me feel like i don't need to upgrade.

one time my computer used fibre optics ... pretty sure that's alien technology

It showed a photo of itself.

When the source code actually compiles.

sonic.exe

>lay down on the bed a bit
>cpu fan noise starts acting up
>quickly go check task manager
>cpu lowers down to idle

One day I booted up my Linux laptop to write an essay for high school. Opened libre office and went to get something to drink. I came back and there was
"I see you. "
typed in. Freaked me out but I probably typed that in myself and forgot about it or something. No one else was at home so it's still quite creepy.

is't this russian sit? very strange indeed

It was me, user.
Sorry to disturb you.

I had a calculator give me the wrong answer once

maybe not a "computer", but
>on LTE with smartphone
>get random IP every time I connect
>the random IP I received at the time was banned for CP
>kek and take a screenshot
>put phone away
>later take phone back out of pocket
>it somehow turned the screen on, opened whatsapp, select a real life friend's chat, attached the screenshot I just took to the message and sent it
>WTF

nah the heels aren't touching the ground, this American spy sit

>A smart phone is not a computer
Based retard poster

Also you obviously kept activating the touch screen with your leg while it was in your pocket.

>A smart phone is not a computer
It actually is, hence why I've put it in quotes
>Also you obviously kept activating the touch screen with your leg while it was in your pocket.
The paranormal part is that the random input chose to do exactly this
imagine how bad it could be to have a screenshot that says you got banned for CP sent to real life friends

Nothing paranormal about it, just one of many equally likely outcomes

>click on a youtube video on Firefox
>just when the video is about to start hit page back
>now the audio is playing on youtube's front page and you're forced to mute/close the tab or click on another video to get rid of it

>use VLC
>close the window
>audio still plays for a few seconds

Keep working when my SSD fell off.

Sure buddy, that totally happened.

Print the list of files in a folder after trying to print a non-null-terminated string.

Windows runs many weird and scary idle tasks when you're not using the computer.

>searching for lizardsquad back in the days when they hacked the Xbox market
>close pc and go to bes
>boot it up the next day and there's a folder on my desktop named after me with an entire pages worth of pics and thumbnails of me
>thought I'd been hacked and entered slightly panic mode

what did you do and can i have this folder

God... i want to nakadashi Brittany

Terminal popping up randomly isn't spoopy enough for you OP?

it was not that long ago I had no idea what that word meant

Everytime I turn my printer on it does some weird shit

Anytime it has to do anything with printers desu

once i've had catalyst cisco switch which generated random multicast on all ports.

My mouse starts moving around the screen by itself and closing my programs and windows down. I know admins can easily do that on work computers, but this was on my personal laptop and remote connection is disabled. Another time, the same laptop was turned completely off, yet the external harddrive suddenly starts spinning like crazy for a few minutes. Both things only happened once and no virus or malware was ever found.

Kek.

When I go to sleep something types on my keyboard. I turn the light on and nothing, soon as I go lay down again something is tapping away.
Don't even give a shit anymore.

Leave a text editor running

my old hp speakers would pick up radio signals or people on the phone sometimes, freaked me out when it happened
another time, on david firth who makes salad fingers and other flash cartoons website, on the toons page if you leave it open long enough a clip of salad fingers muttering random shit starts playing. when I heard it was quiet and I thought one of the things he said was I've been watching you.

Nothing shows up. Videod it too, nothing. Keyboard rgb does however light up, since I have activate on key press profile for it.
>turn off screen
>go to bed
>turn off lights
>close eyes
>few minutes in
>open eyes
>keyboard all lit up again and tap tap tap

>Watching on my smartphone.
>Phone's been acting up and bring slow
>Close YouTube app.
>iPhone home screen flickers on my phone
>I have an Android
Maybe a roommate was casting to a tv? But idk how that shit works or why my phone is involved

2.
>Just installed Windows 10
>Shutdown and go to sleep
>Middle of night, get awoken to bright blue light lighting up my room
>My computer is on and is updating
>Confused but go to sleep
>Wake up in the morning and turn on computer. No mention of update or changes

It sure if it counts as computer but:
>buy chink TV box
>connect my portable HDD to watch stuff in it
>tvbox doesn't have an off button
>HDD transfer LED starts flashing at 3am all out sudden
They have all my data don't they?

Not a computer but...

>Had an old CRT I used to play NES games with
>In bed one night
>CRT turns on on its own
>No cable so it's just white noise
>Volume starts raising
>I wake up to the loud noise
>Volume keeps going up and up
>I quickly turn the volume back down because my mom is sleeping in the other room
>Volume goes back up
>Turn the tv off
>It turns back on

Had to unplug that haunted fucker. Took it to the dump the next day.

cd tray shenanigans

nothing, because my machines are deterministic

It's actually pretty common for a cellphone to unlock in your pocket, open the last used app or the most used one and send the last photo to one of the latest chats

>>Turn the tv off
>>It turns back on

My CD ROM drive kept opening and closing by itself, but then I learned I got sub7'd

>not sitting on the remote solves this problem

my old laptop crashed often and whenever i held down the power button it would make a popping sound

>Write code
>Doesn't work
>Change some stuff
>Doesn't work and gets worse
>Change back and test again
>Works perfectly

Do you guys live on some repurposed graveyard or some shit?

>walk out of my room to make some food
>screen turns off, as it should cause i was away for a while
>come back into room and screen turns back on by itself
my mouse didnt move at all, i was a solid 4 feet away from my computer

Basically the equivalent of having to plugin a USB 3 times

>Mount network drive
>Permissions suddenly remove themselves from it
>The headquarters people have to fix it
>Everyone thinks I changed permissions despite the fact no has done that for days.

My pc starts if i touch my radiator

Look Derek we know you changed the permissions and lying just annoys our IT staff. Let's just forget about it, okay?

I used a lockscreen from that day on... lesson learned

Oh, but since I use a lockscreen, it sometimes starts dialing emergency numbers while in my pocket.
So I had to disable doubletap to wake too.

>ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL

It's always magical when I expect something to spit out an error message but then works perfectly.

>In class in high school
>Try compiling something

Underrated

We Russians are of not to being confused with Slavs comrade

>cant get ram to clock at 3200
>remember a thread about percussive maintenance and thought itd be funny to thwack my computer
>ram is instantly at 3200 without me changing anything

Spoopy af

Those old RCA XL100's tend to do that.

scary stuff

I have a gigabyte motherboard that refuses to post with a VGA card slotted into it

With one exception, it works with my vega 56 nano, but only the the first DIMM is empty

I think it's fucked desu I've never seen it work right with any other gpu/ram setup

also it's an itx board so now it's basically useless.

Did you think about putting it in your pocket with the screen facing away from your thigh?

>put computer to sleep
>put myself to sleep
>wake up to my computer waking up

my screen showed my a pic of a cute girl
but it had a dick

it just werks

fpbp

ffmpeg working in first try

>Time to lock PC and get some sleep
>Windows Key + L
>Lock screen
>Monitor goes to sleep
>Turn of room light
>Jump in bed
>15 minutes later
>Screen wakes up
>Goes back to sleep mode
>Screen wakes up again
>Goes back to sleep
