i ordered the redmi note 7, because i need a phone to tide me over until good 5G models come out. What am i in for ?

I'd honestly go for the rog phone II if it was less than $600 USD shipped for the top of the line model. I suspect that it would probably be around double that price though, so I'll just get some custom romable chinkshit instead.

is there anything that I can replace my Note 4 with that has all the features without any shitty downsides? SD card, removable battery, IR blaster preferred, unlocked bootloader definitely

>removable battery

I've got a peenus
A little peenus weenus
Woah yeah

that's a big ass phone

Attached: absolute unit.png (719x449, 252K)

Probably not with everything that you want.
The stylus would probably only be available on Samsung Notes, and LG Stylo.
Removable batteries are virtually not available anymore.
MicroSD card slots are still around.
IR blasters are still available in some models.
Unlocked bootloader with custom ROM support would be too much work for me to sift through for you.
You should just go to

and use it to find something.

It's closer to small tablet at this point. Depending on where you live there's a good chance you'll never see someone in the wild talking on the phone with it

Asus is just asking way to much for their "gaming phones".

Besides Asus, Xiaomi, and Razer are there other "gaming phone" makers?

Chrome or FF for android?

Nubia with their red magic/devil series. They look similar to rog phones.

iphones are the best choice for gaming, since they're actually optimized :^)

>Nubia

iPhones don't have tachiyomi, so I don't even consider it as an option.

The Chinese have a strange naming sense.

>weeaboos

Oh yeah. So with four companies it's not too-too bad with variety. I wonder why Huawei hasn't made one yet.

Huawei won't be making anything new any time soon

Attached: kfPuWZO.jpg (434x479, 42K)

Nubia is a subsidiary of ZTE, so Huawei might have some involvement. Honestly I'm not sure what is what, or how companies, and ownership works in China. Everything seems blurry, or obfuscated to me. Especially with my limited understanding.

Huawei is just part of the problem since every company, and factory in China is tied to their government.

tech nowadays is maturing to the point where a handful of companies owns a shitload of subbrands kind of like how nestle is like

I understand how it works outside if China, but my mental roadblock is how it works within communism, or just specifically in China. Like my brain just goes into a loop when I try to think about it.

>China
>communist

china runs on some weird capitalist/socialist hybrid society where the money which goes in doesn't come out the same way
i guess the money is kept by the 1% and doesn't really find its way back out to the rest of the people similar to the US but the diff is that people are more likely to complain about it in America but the chinese defend it as though it's supposed ot work that way

>semanticsfag
Apologies. I forgot that there has been zero countries that have been truly "communist" that have been known to have existed.

Anyone ever use a rugged phone?

Attached: sonim-xp8-black.png (245x489, 85K)

No. I always get interested, but decide on a non rugged phone + case before I pull the trigger.

That resolution is underwhelming, all things considered

Always remember, the PRC is involved with every single company.

I find case shopping very stressful.

>communism doesn't have party members at the top of the government with their fingers in every pie
no different from Russia's oligarchs

Should I go for Nokia 2.1 or 3.1 or something totally different. I broke my phone yesterday and I am going shopping today.

why would my Note8 use 30% of the battery on Cell standby in 9 hours?
screen usage

I always buy Ringke

>communism doesn't have party members at the top of the government with their fingers in every pie
Then why do some Chinese people, and their kids have Ferraris while most other Chinese people have to fish sewers for cooking oil, and have to live in a cage along side other families that live in cages like Mexican prisoners (seen it in a documentary).

I liked the Ringke I had on my Nexus 4, but their one for Mi9T is too busy for my taste.

S10+ 128GB for $600 or OP7P 256GB for $750?

Very simple, they're well connected and rich. Similar to the oligarchs, a few hundred chinks got their hands on everything in the 70s and got filthy rich just like that. They're the ones you see with a dozen Ferraris.

Is Google Fi service shitty? I'm thinking of signing up for the $300 off a Pixel 3 so I can ditch my old chink phone and my shitty metroPCS service which hardly works.

is it worth it?

What's your current phone, and what do you like about it?

Busy?

$600 new? Where from? I'd get it in a heartbeat

A few companies are starting to acknowledge that removing it was a mistake. Chances are Samsung Galaxy Note 11 will bring it back like they did with the microSD card some years back. Additionally gaming phones have another reason to have the headphone jack as Bluetooth headphone batteries may not necessarily have the capacity to last for a prolonged gaming session.

You're right, the best place for the headphone jack to be is at the side. Same for the charging port.

Actually no, not until next year at least when the screen refresh rate goes up from the current standard 60Hz. The iPad on the other hand is optimised for gaming.

Too much going on with the design. It's got all these indents and cutouts, whereas I like relatively plain cases.

So if Xiaomi works on app drawer, how long will it take before the gonna introduce it to MIUI officially?

Who gives a fuck, just use Poco Launcher if you want something resembling MIUI's home screen style.

Redmi Note 7

What up fella's

I ain't been out here for a hot minute but your boys 8y/o-dead-grandma hand me down Samsung Galaxy note bouda conk outta (god bless).

Country: Switzerland
Carrier: Swisscom

At what point do you actually notice ppi difference?
I want to upgrade but i'd go from a small screen with 1440p resolution to big screen with 1080p

Galaxy A40

Right, I feel the same. Thankfully with most phones they make the default Fusion cases with no ricer aesthetic.

Jesus FUCK, are you black? Why would a Swiss guy talk like that?
You'll notice it easily, doesn't matter if you have a 4k phone you'll always notice higher ppi

Hello guys i am thinking of purchasing a Nokia 5.1 plus as it is really cheap compared to other phones and has a clean android. I do not really need to buy a new phone but my mothers phone broke and i would be giving her my current samsung galaxy j3(2017). Do you have any other recomandations at around 150 euros that i might consider instead of the 5.1 plus? im from roumania btw so phones are a bit more expensive.

Attached: Nokia-5.1-Plus-Black.jpg (650x550, 46K)

Hello my fellow pajeet, get the Zenfone Max Pro M1, it's dirt cheap here (125 USD for the 4/64 version) so it should be just as cheap at your end. Avoid this Nokia, it's got trash specs, it won't age well at all. Get the Zenfone

Appreciate the suggestion.
Weirdly enough, am kina tempted by Iphone SE
have short listed to:
Iphone SE, Iphone 7, Samsung Galaxy A40, Sony Xerpia XZ1 & Samsung galaxy A3 (2017)
Among these- are any total trash before I begin like seriously review comparing etc.

I still value batt life, camera, & size.

Black people don't talk like this.
Swiss people wouldn't be out here in the first place- buncha ossi's (I'm not Swiss)

Thanks lads

I had the XZ1, it was great. Good battery life, fast enough charging that I didn't have to care about it, after debloating it it became even better. Honestly the best

! Shit I think i've narrowed down between Iphone SE & XZ1 compact

Thanks a bunch btw doos, this has been a really efficient way of traversing the fucking handheld device market.
Came pretty close to settling on a high Voltage toaster & ending it all desu.

my j3 has "trash" specs and it is still working flawlessly at over 1 and a half year mark. also the zenfone you recommend its almost 100 dollars more expensive than the nokia

Asus Zenfone 5 or Motorola Moto G7 Plus?

Redmi Note 7

Assmi Node Se7en.

Yes, imagine 1.5ys from now tho

i feel like the nokia could hold up for 2 years easy esp since i barely use my phone

Redmi Note 7

Chinaknife arrived.

It's a Sanrenmu WL5-721P - I did not have great expectations, mainly ordered it because it was cheap, I wanted to check how fast and reliable Fasttech is.

It's cute! It does not have a great edge though.
12C27 steel, according to the website. Probably okay to sharpen/hone with a cheapo tool, might get a Lansky blade medic for this stuff

sry wrong tab -.-

/spg/ is just /csg/ with a focus on smartphones, you're in the right place boyo

>Finally get a smartphone with decent specs
>It's gaymen trash
We should nuke technology.

>refuses to buy a decent product because it’s capable of being used for fun activities

You might want to contemplate killing yourself.

I was considering the galaxy s10, after a while settled for the s10e and now a50.
Seeing them in person the s10e and a40 feel a lot better to hold though

How bad is the a40 really? I dont want chinkshit

Is the mate 20 pro the most chad phone right now (until rog 2)?

>Imagine bringing that shit at work without any shame
I bet you're literally that fat guy no one wants to talk to who brings his Msi flashy gaymen laptop during meetings, because "it has really good specs for the price". Except the obnoxious LEDs almost gave Martha a seizure and everyone have to speak loud because of your fucking laptop fans constantly spinning at 100% (for extra cooling performance).
Fuck you Dave, you're a fat fuck, no one likes you.

Lies. Wealth is distributed equally in China, so everybody has a Ferrari.

Huawei Y6 Pro for 40 usd. Is it worth a buy?

>implying antifags worship modern nat-soc government
say what you want about the chinks but they aren't the ones being replaced ethnically by niggers and mudlimes

you just describe modern JewSA

If you don't care about root then the S10+ is just better

Isn't the p30 pro more of a chad?

>just described modern jewSA
I know the Democrats are trying as hard as they can to make the US more like China, but Americans aren't living inside of cages while sharing an apartment with multiple families.

This. Chinks are more natsoc than communist.

What's that on the phone?

But does everyone have a OnePlus 7 Pro though?

REEE where's he getting it for $600? I would love to have one for that much, cheaper than the OP7P while packing the best hardware Samshit has got. I'll blank out the notch and live with it happily

>But does everyone have a OnePlus 7 Pro though?
>physically have
Probably not, but technically if one person owns it then the all own it, no?

ok so I came to this thread specifically to bitch about it.

Ads on music player,
ads on launcher (suggested apps),
default camera app sucks (did a 45 min video, splits it into 29 min blocks, and second block is corrupt),
the other day bugged with the volume slider onscreen until i reset it,
chrome grinded to an halt watching porn (which is fun having porn sound playing and cant stop it),
launcher once didn't let me open anything

prob there's more I can't remember off the top of my head

other than that, it's a good :/

maybe a good rom fixes some of these?

Delete your post at once or risk losing some of your social credit score

Ask me how I know you're a pajeet

The chinks clocked in lads.

because I didn't expect MIUI a shit before I got it?

>not disabling ads and debloating it
>not ricing your chinkphone with lineage, custom apps, gcam and custom launchers

Lineage...? No...?

Ads only happen in the pajeet version of these phones
in other regions, there's no ads
I thought you pajeets were tech savvy, there's a billion videos on these things on YouTube, look up some fixes instead of bitching about it

Europe my nig, from a network physical store no less.

So did I get it right that by buying the Note 10, not only is the camera quality worse than the P30 pro, the front facing camera will also be worse than the S10 plus?

No

Can you explain please?

I have money to burn and want a phone that is smaller than ~6 inches, which one would be the overall best?
