Nubia is a subsidiary of ZTE, so Huawei might have some involvement. Honestly I'm not sure what is what, or how companies, and ownership works in China. Everything seems blurry, or obfuscated to me. Especially with my limited understanding.

Huawei is just part of the problem since every company, and factory in China is tied to their government.

I do not really need to buy a new phone but my mothers phone broke and i would be giving her my current samsung galaxy j3(2017). Do you have any other recomandations at around 150 euros that i might consider instead of the 5.1 plus? im from roumania btw so phones are a bit more expensive.
