Doesn't guarantee you a job, but you give them your data (more than usual) in the process.

searched it, can't find it

>Don't show me this again
*click*

You'd be a moron to work for Google.

Just what kind of people does Google hire? Holy shit...

anyway looks like it's google.com/foobar/

ublock origin blocks that stuff doesn't it?

I think so. I've never seen it. Based gorhill

I don't look for beginner shit so it never popped up.

Great way to reduce applicants for google.

I just disabled my uBO on google.com.

Oh hey, this is literally what triggered it for me too.
Signed up because lmao why not, but it turned out to only be java/python jobs.

Still, potentially having Google on your resume. How can you pass that up?

Are you black?

white

I'd work for Google.
Like better income than my current place.
Looks better on the resume than my current place.
Lots of free perks especially compared to my current place.
I think they have this stuff where you get one day a week on working on your side project.

The only downside is having to hide your power level, but that's something I do anyway.

No, I don't use goolag.

hahaha oh wow you sure btfo'd him haha look he has dark skin so he must be lesser hahahaha

No chance of being hired. Sorry sweety

I'm a girl so it's fine.

I interviewed at Google. At the lunch with the team session I casually mentioned Go is the sort of language I'd be pretty interested in learning. Guy says "yeah I don't know anyone who writes Go. It's mostly Python, or C++".

as a cishet white male, i only trigger the interviewers themselves.

It's spelled "sweaty" :^)

cope

A thorough break-down of my argument. Good job poldier

>t. pajeet streetshitter

I understand that Alphabet and Google by extension are massive as fuck, so it can be easy to lose track of shit. But how can they honestly have Rob Pike and Ken Thompson just hacking away at that while not using it for much other than to say, "We got Pike and Thompson! We don't let them actually do anything, but we have them!"

Not getting anything. Maybe you have to live in India for it to show

>Looks better on the resume than my current place.
thing of the past, not true anymore. Everyone can work at google now.
>Lots of free perks especially compared to my current place.
fake news
>I think they have this stuff where you get one day a week on working on your side project.
not anymore

take agile scrum
times it by 1000
add heavy peer pressures
add clueless managers pressure

That was a secret hiring process?
Fugg I fucked up many times.

>The only downside is having to hide your power level, but that's something I do anyway.
Why use the euphemism? If fourchins is a safe space, why do you feel scared of calling white supremacy what is is?

>Fake news
How do you know, doober.
You're full of shit. Opinion discarded.
I mean at work, or in public in general. I just stay put and ignore all the buzzword stuff going around.

hownu.ru

Yeah it's an algo that looks at the frequency of your searches, what you click on etc. So if you just randomly searched a bunch of terms "dependency injection" etc in a row, you won't get anything.

not really. it was just a set of data structures/algorithms problems that you had to answer for a chance at a phone call.

LOL

I feel like Cloudflare have more actual Go in production than Google. Cloudflare have several blogs about several public facing services running Go on every hit to their CDN. That's more than I can say for Google, who are better known for C++ and Java backends.

No, I use DuckDuckGo.

poo lad
