I use my X61s as a typewriter.
My X200s is just for tinkering
The T450s is my main machine. My T60 and X230 are currently without hard drives.
Aaaand here's my desktop. Though this screenshot isn't entirely up to date. By now I

What colorscheme are you using. Nice setup btw
not him but it looks like monokai, i agree it looks nice
I've been using OpenBSD since it's significantly more secure than FreeBSD, but it has a lot of really weird inconsistencies/bugs that are annoying me.
thanks. The scheme doesn't have a particular name or anything. I just based it on the wallpaper and manually set it because I was too stupid to use terminal.sexy. I had to switch around some colors to get terminal applications like cmus and mc to look right
this is my desktop
>bar
fucking bloat retard

Hello ricer friends
Is there any simple guide text/video on the topic of modifying GTK themes?
I tried changing the hex values of colors in gtkrc of a specific theme and it changed more or less everything, *except* the in this case white background in Thunar or Whisker menu
Which variable to I have to fuck with to get that to the dark green that I desire
Awesome best wm?
nice colors
Here's mine, I still have to theme some terminal colors
>tiling wm

BTW, does anyone still have that picture where they compare Win10's new theme with KDE Plasma 5? I can't find it anywhere.
meh
>Package: 5
what
I like this, it's pretty, but if you go over the anime gril (who has no face sadly) does it blur her? If not that's kinda lame.
>1366x768
>tiling wm
lol
post picture of that cutie
Thanks for reminding me that I should finally continue reading the manga.
what is it from, Anonymous? I like vampires.
I have no imagination desu
Hi Camila, are you a cute loli?
Here you go user, she's best girl of her serie.
If I were you I'd install a compton with blur, but I'm a blur fanatic
sudo apt build-dep compton
sudo apt remove compton
git clone github.com
cd compton-kawase-blur
make
make doc
sudo make install
Then change your compton.conf to use kawase as the blur method, and set the blur strength to your taste. Slightly more resource intensive (but it's using the GPU so not too bad if you use the glx backend) but it looks 1000x better.
Kimetsu no Yaiba
It's not about vampires though, but demons.
oh okay, I'm not interested then. I only like vampires.
ChromeOS is bloat?
why windows me, user? everyone was using windows xp when haruhi aired.
>using anything else but machine code to interact with computer
of course it's bloat
Stop ousting this fucking word everywhere you retard
Because I wanted to prove everyone saying ME is buggy wrong.
Knowing 9x so well, I got it to work fine without crashing.

Such as? Genuinely curious.
compton makes my setup runs like utershite for some reason
disabling it made chromium runs super smoothly
maybe because of my shitty integrated graphics
what theme is that
qutebrowser looks usable
never took the time to try it out fully
what wallpaper is this?
I wrote a bunch down:
- user crontabs not working
- pkg_add uses set umask when installing software
- doas has weird env inheritance
- backspace broken in vim
- running scripts in /etc? why?
- feh controls/menu don't work
- plan9port segfaults whenever I run anything
- absolutely insane disk management
- ffs, even with softdep, is bad
- not able to specify multiple wpa networks
- pkg_ slow as hell
- makedev (scripts in /dev ?)
- terminal focus broken when starting new xterm
- screen dims all the way down when switching ttys
- kernel panic when ssh forwarding from linux
- need to run rdate every boot
- xedit and xcalc still broken
I'm sure there are fixes for most of my issues, but the regression bug with 6.2 where you can't have a single-partition disk plus everything above has rubbed me the wrong way.
ignore the episode of law and order in the task bar
why did you stop using linux?
It felt too convoluted with systemd, all the new features and apps that canonical is trying to push; like there's now 5 different ways to do one thing, which was a pain to manage and keep track of. I also realized the only thing I couldn't do on BSD that I could do on Linux was use Spotify and Netflix, which I mainly use my MacBook for. I probably could've used void or some other hipster distro, but I felt that they weren't mature enough and didn't have enough package support. Plus I use FreeBSD at work, so I was used to it.
I do still have Debian running on my more powerful computer, that I install whatever on and don't care how clean and tidy it is.
Just Xfce with Paper icons and multiload-ng
i was thinking about switching to *bsd for a while but i cant really be bothered with having to get used to a new os again
assuming everything goes to plan ill probably buy a macbook soonish anyways
at least gentoo has been fine for me so far
pedoweebs
How dare you defile Linux with your weebfaggotry!
If you can make Gentoo work then yeah, that's probably your best bet. All the different USE flags got to be too much for me to handle, plus I didn't have good hardware to compile everything on.
macOS is nice if you don't connect an apple account or use any apple apps. Best display on a laptop too, which is one of the most important features.
>macOS is nice if you don't connect an apple account or use any apple apps.
just because of privacy related reasons or?
Kinda, once you log in with an apple ID it starts up a bunch of unnecessary account services I assume for facetime, messenger, app store, email, contacts, etc. launchd/launchctl, which inspired systemd, can cut it down a bit, but it's purposefully a pain to use.
i use most apple apps quite a bit in my day to day so i dont think id mind it if it means having it all synced to my laptop
with systemd its just unnecesary imo

Trip/namefags shilling for mApple.
