intelfags will defend this

dang that sure is hot

You can literally, LITERALLY boil an egg on it.

Tom's Hardware edit with "More is Better" when?

OH NONONONONO OHHOHO

Is that without a cooler? They have the 2700X hitting 88.5C but my 2700 doesn't come close to that OC'd to 3.7GHz.

kek

Congrats Intel, you surpassed FX housefires.

It’s a feature. You can boil water for your tame saving energy,

Stock cooler maybe. Room temperature and case airflow can also influence results. If they had some (((high end))) GPU in the case it would also influence results if it's used. Duration of the benchmark also matters.

Holy shit. I never thought I'd see Intel get hotter than Bulldozer. Insane.

what's so bad about using all the thermal headroom you've got if the CPU can take it

Boiling yourself to death while sitting next to your PC isn't safe.

We need to go hotter.

finally, a pc i can use to boil water for my noodles

delid

>mfw my IBM PPC970 barely touches 49 ºC

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (1280x720, 79K)

>meanwhile in amd reddit
>why is my cpu at 40c idle?
>all while their cpu maxes out at 70c

An effort was made

Attached: OHNONONONO.png (1326x700, 67K)

>shit cooler

They use AMD's stock cooler on the Ryzens, so I say it balances out.

>IBM PPC970
>2002 Power PC arch

wow, can you even run youtube on that?

I can watch 1080p Dailymotion videos perfectly fine.

impressive, whats the clocks on that? im also assuming you are running some sort of mac (G5)
I had a G4 mac and that became very very slow

>66 under load is a house fire
>zen 2 idles at 60
hmm

They all suck. My 7700k doesnt go above 50c @5ghz after i delidded, got a new copper heat sink and used thermal grizzly.

9900K. They accidentally put the operating temperature in the SKU field.

2.5Ghz PowerPC G5 Quad (dual dual-core 970MP processors)
The thing idles at 30 ºC regularly, despite me living in the fucking tropics, and I hope it keeps serving me well for many years to come.

Based

you know its bad when you make a fx 9590 looks like a joke

>b-b-but I get 3 more frames when gaming

De donde eres

9900 Kelvin

kek

>70-80
Are these normal for the 3700X?

AHAAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAH

higher is better, filthy goyim

My motherboard switches the fans into panic mode at 80C with no way to change this in BIOS. How the fuck is cooling supposed to work with these CPUs when 80 is AVERAGE?

You know that a beefy cooler with powerful fans will dissipate slightly MORE heat into the room than a shitty weak cooler that makes your CPU heat up to 100C, right?

Yes goy

And shittier lows

but wouldnt the egg goo go all over the hard drive and ruin it

Why are you comparing Intel CPU's at load against Zen2 idling?

>I never thought I'd see Intel get hotter than Bulldozer
how old are you?

Based Intel, let's me do some pasta while I gayme at no extra cost!
It's a feature.

Your pasta might be pozzed though

>Can't even delid
>Forces you to buy a 360 aio meme
For what 1% more fps in vidya over the i7? Idk man.

Lucky. My 7700k becomes very unstable @5ghz all core.

Just buy it goy...

Delid and delap it bro. Don't forget the $200 watercooler.

Thanks mom

I did delid and reseal. Reason I'm running a 7700k on z170 is because I fucked up the pcb on my 6700k deliding it. I have a nh-d15 on it, not a thermal sponge water cooler.

System becomes slightly unstable at 5ghz. 4.9ghz is rock solid.

>I fucked up the pcb on my 6700k deliding it
Fuck Intel for this retarded practice

[x] Power consumptions don't matter
[x] Housefire temps don't matter

The list never ends

Intel chips are widely recognised as being resposible for 99% of housefires in the whole world, this is because they were built by engineers who jerk off to clock speeds.

>Boil an egg
>Wouldn't the egg goo go all over it
>Boil
Fuck off, underage.

It's summer

I've actually never seen my i9-9900k breach 60c, even under immense strain and overclocked. Ran a benchmark and strain test overnight and came back to a steady 59c. That said I don't use cheap coolers. Most AMDs can perform the same unless you're doing some crazy shit to it. I've seen some spec threads on here where there are volcanos on both sides with clock speeds exceeding the recommended maximums, which is the fault of the consumer rather than the company. Never had a bad experience with either Intel or AMD aside from the laptop CPUs, which are terrible for both companies. The only one I actually seemed to get consistently good temperatures and performance from was from an i7 Toshiba which fried itself in the end as I could not get into it to clean out some of the shit that was clogging the airflow.

>Avg temp of my 4770 is 41°C
Better luck next year, literal toaster makers!

Get proper cooling

Lists don't matter.

>using a shitty cooler/not using a cooler
no wonder it got that hot. next time don't be an idiot

>Current year
>Now pretty much anything in your case boosts higher if you have good temps
>People still buy hotbox case with dvd burner

Attached: BH.jpg (700x700, 209K)

But open testing case like hardware reviewers

Buy*

I bet you can even go with el cheapo chinkbench and be allright

Nothing matters

I thought there were LCS options available for those chipsets.

Wait for 10 core @ 5GHz

That's because AMD can't into AVX.

Attached: intelfire2.jpg (814x828, 188K)

THIS IS FINE

But I thought Intlel finished and bankrupt?

s-sixty on idle... sirs...

>200C

I have a 2700 with a Fuma Rev. B on it, never gets above 55C full core load at stock, 75C at 1.3V and 3.8GHz
