No, I only have 2nd generation intel core-m

no, I'm not a filthy corelet.
my threadripper 2990wx is only 2nd gen.

Went from 2700K to 3600. Everyhing works perfect on Asrock B450M Pro4, I can recommend this motherboard if you can get the shop to flash it.

what ram kit do you have in it? I have ryzen 3600 and am considering same mobo.

I was going to get one
But then i saw the benchmarks

my FX-6300 is all I need for my 4channel machine

Shimarin and Nadeshiko going to camping.
This time all they need is a Ryzen to make a campfire.

can't find anything googling that. freq/CL/manufacturer/model?

im enjoying my 2700 that i got for a steal of a price and overclocked it ^_^

oops. BLS2K8G4D30AESBK

I have one but I refuse to buy blower 5700xt
It's pissing me off to the point I'm going to most likely get a on sale 2070 if I can catch One

Custom models are LITERALLY coming out next month, senpai.

No, I don't need a modern processor to watch anime, the Pentium 4 will do just fine.

Based 3ks:
1- 3600 best value cpu for modern vidya
2- 3900X best if you use all coars
3- 3700X best value for productivity

I'm waiting but there's news of delays.
I'm not waiting until September if I have 90% of my build sitting in my room

2070 would be a huge mistake for games like BFV.

Aftermarket coolers are too rare on the market and prices are too high sometimes relatively to the cost of the gpu, they should do a more mid range gpu cooler, that shit would sell better than the $100 one imo. $450 + $40-50 is kind of reasonable.

Recently built a 3600 system with a vega 56.
Very happy with it, it was a huge upgrade.

I'm having trouble deciding between a 3700k or 3800k. Is it worth the extra 70 bucks?

No, I'm too poor for AMD so I bought Intel.

Have you tried OC + UV on the V56 yet? I'm considering getting a blower one for $279, replacing the TIM with IC diamond, and OC + UV.

3700x is more flexible and Imo best if you're a programmer

I have the sapphire pulse (bought it for £249), undervolted from 1.2 to 1.07, increased core clock to 1660mhz and memory to 920mhz. I cap all my games to 75hz, so the card is always running cool and barely using any power, 50-60w in most games and 90-100w in very demanding games like metro exodus.

noice

Attached: 1540080411177.png (219x193, 118K)

do you actually need the extra cores

I'm waiting for the 3950x. And I'm so full of cash the 3950x will be only used for web browser activity (youtube, netflix, twitch, Jow Forums, web tv). 16 cores for that shit!

Not only that but I'm getting a 2080 ti and I don't even play games only because I'm loaded with welfare money.

>tfw too poor for AMD

Not yet, i have 3600 but it won't boot since i can't update bios on my mobo, and im lazy to do something about it, so my new PC just laying around for 2 weeks already, maybe later when i don't feel so lazy ill do something about it, but for now rip.

Attached: carrot3.gif (350x203, 2.02M)

I'm loving it.

Attached: yes.jpg (3024x4032, 2.15M)

Get an Nvidia card trust me. I have a strix 1080 and it runs cool and quiet with no issues. Best card ive ever owned and not one single bsod since I got rid of AMD gpus

theres no delay theyre coming in like 2 weeks. all the reviewers are saying so.

I have a 1950x, but I would happily go for the 16 core of whatever this generation has to offer.

>performance gets nuked to shit after another massive security hole is found

Enjoy your regressive CPU, user.

>You do have one, right?
No user, I'm still rocking my fx9590 and 32GB of DDR3, I'm too cheap to replace 3 components that will be out of date in 5 years.

Loved it so much I returned it to ensure another user had the ability to buy the 3900X.

Attached: Traitor.jpg (2048x1295, 1.08M)

Aftermarket gpu coolers will never be mainstream as the vast majority of end users cannot be trusted with mounting a cooler on a bare die

I already got it, but I felt empty. The excitement and the desire of getting the new system literally gone after one day.

Kek that buttmad intelshitter and his pozzed housefire, nice buyer's remorse.

2700x here I'm very happy with it no point side grading to x570 either until better memory or ssds come out

Welcome to adulthood.

These backwards compatible with my x470? Don't give a fuck about gen4 yet as my board didn't get the update

Nah, I'm waiting for a real use case for it.
Maybe when Niggerpunk 2077 launches.

I don't think its worth the upgrade.

Attached: Hwinfo1.png (641x576, 56K)

What is this nigger tier ram? holy fuck.

are you around london? i can let you borrow my 1600 for a pint

you got 4.4 @1.26v?

i have a ryzen 7 2700x and am not sure if the upgrade is worth it

twf poorfag with i5 4460 and 750ti

No.
I realized I wasn't playing any gaymes in the benchmarks I saw.

apparently they come out mid august

remember to get that fast ram and overclock it even further, literally free performance.

Attached: hwinfo.png (639x573, 57K)

hehe thats just VID

Its "stable" in pretty much everything but crashes in cinebench r20. I havent had time for proper OC but there sure is potential that the intel shills are trying to bury.

4.5 allcore shuts down at 95 degrees, 4.45 hits 94 degrees in aida64 stability test. However LLC and shit is fucked with my c7h bios so i have to go extra high on vcore. In the future ill run PBO with some undervolting which would give me 4.5 ~ in 1-4 core loads and 4.4 all core without much problem.

Attached: vidlol.jpg (1586x966, 286K)

what are you using to cool

Yeah, the memory controller looks sexy on those new chips. Maybe the best part about zen2.

240 aio with noctua fans push pull

Got a 6600K, seems like enough for my current needs, might upgrade to ryzen 4000 next year. Until then, corelet gang.

no, im from Riga, thank you for offer anyway
i will probably build some cheap PC for my mom and use her cpu to flash my mobo

See if you can order a free bootkit in your region when you aren't feeling so lazy.
amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/pa-100#faq-Short-Term-Processor-Loan-Boot-Kit

They want proof that the manufacturer and vendor won't help you. How do you get around that?

Who cares? i am not buying "magical expensive RAM" just to get 3-5 fps on some shitty unoptmized game.

AMD it right?

Attached: 20190729_182233.jpg (4032x1908, 2.13M)

When I did it for my 2600 with a x370 board I just said that I went through support and they were not very helpful and suggested to look up the boot kit program. Seems it was enough as a few days later my application went through with no problem.
If you do some searching around you can find other people did similar things so it can't hurt to try yourself. At worst they say no and you are no worse off than you are now.

I appreciate the value but these idle temps and voltages have me concerned.

>having to spend an extra $90 on an aftermarket cooler because he went with intel

oh no no no!

>Implying
I got my shit from Microcenter
>$500 3900X + $350 X570 board = $850
Or
>$450 9900k + $230 Z390 board + $75 cooler = $755
Hmmm.

>You do have one, right?
No, I'm not a fan of troubleshooting and waiting for bios patches

3600 voltage and temps after stress testing on Metro Exodus on extreme settings with hair works and tessellation on.

Attached: 1.png (588x977, 72K)

What are you poor? Cope more.

Chances that microcenter will be fair and give a good deal on aftermarket 5700xt and ram or anything not connected to be buying the cpu?

I'm using one of the first bios released by MSI and I haven't had a single issue on my b450m board.

I don't enjoy getting scammed by paying twice the real value of any product

Does the 3700X idle much cooler than the 3900X?

I'm a little confused as to why this is showing my ram as 1600mhz when in bios it says 3200mhz.

Attached: summary.png (647x576, 55K)

Double 1600 and think about what it makes.

ryzen 1700 fag here

broke

3990WX when?

As much as i would like one, a homeNAS/Server is my priority at the moment.

I've got a 1600X and 3600 at the moment.
The 3600 is in my server. Probably will pop out the 1600X when 4600 comes out.

cute figures OP

I assumed each individual ram stick was meant to be 3200mhz.

Attached: C7x4T1lXkAEjIrH.jpg (800x748, 55K)

>voltage and temp spikes everytime I open a windows explorer window
>idles at 55c, hits 80c under load
I'm not enjoying one fucking bit of this thing. I got jewed.

Don't but x570 goy

user, please.
Don't do this, I already have a headache.

DDR = double data rate. 1600*2=3200.

What about when the 3500 comes out

I-I-I knew that

Attached: 1494039315102.jpg (250x218, 20K)

I'm completely out of the loop on all the Zen 3 stuff, now that it's been out for a few weeks are any issues resolved? Like the stuff about high voltages, etc. I plan on buying a new x570 mobo and a new Zen 3 CPU, RAM, etc. Are there any major issues I need to watch out for?

Incel "logic"

As we all at some point in our lives

Kek I'm still rocking housefire fx-8310 paired with gtx-1050 for my main rig. I only use it for older title games like skyrim, doom and starcraft 2 so I'm good for now

Idk the specs dude if $200 is too much go used previous ryzens.i think you might find good deals.

Middle of next month even if you are pro mlg nigga u can saiw™

Very nice. What cooler

>go used previous ryzens.i think you might find good deals.
>Tfw no one selling used ryzens in aus

3700x on GB Ultra.
32gb 3200 Ram

Looks like I wont the silicon lottery, shit benches faster than a 3800x stock

Dont wanna bother OCing since im a boomer now and fine with the performance.
