What a strange ad. Why is there just a phone? Usually they show somebody using it.

First they took off the buttons. And we had shitty tactile interfaces for ages.

Now they take off the act of touching itself. Unless there's a very smart design for these air gestures, this is going to be utter shit. Eg, I don't understand in the commercial why would the girl prefer to be 10cm from the screen to skip from song to song. This is a retarded feature.

Now you can think of useful air gestures. But those are yet to be shown by Google.

So pathetic the way google try to copy the iPhone every year, always running two steps behind and taking the worst MacToddler features (removing headphone jack, keeping massive bezels, no expandable storage etc). Those drawbacks are sometimes worth paying for Apple's quality control but pixels are basically chinkphone tier quality, with dozens of major issues

Air gestures have been a thing since at least Samsung S3, how is that a new feature?
