Want to buy a new TV

>Want to buy a new TV
>Look for TVs on the internet
>"Refresh Rate: 1000Hz interpolated!"
>"Regresh Rate: Ghz (???)"
>Literally can't find the actual fucking data and specs of these retarded ass TVs

I fucking hate Television marketing so much.
Just slapping the biggest numbers they somehow can even if it's misinformation.
That's why the retarded 4k and 8k meme is being pushed too.
Fucking tired of this SHIT

>his screen doesn't irradiate him with gamma rays because it refreshes so fast
what are you? poor?

They're all 60Hz. All of them.

Nah, a lot are 50Hz or even 30Hz

tvs are for nerds

All you need to know are 2 words.
LG, OLED

Even the cheapest shit is 60Hz
Once you hit around the $1k range you get TVs that are 120hz

Samsung's $600 55 inch NU8000 is 120hz and LG has cheap 120hz HDMI 2.1 TVs

Not a single Television in the WORLD has a native 120hz panel at 4k.
FACT
They use interpolation and black frame insertion memes to artifically increase the numbers, and then companies like Sony, Samsung etc. inflate it further cause they're evil

Have you payed your loicence m8
Nah just buy a big va monitor ultrawide for kino

Been while since I've looked, wasn't aware they were getting that cheap

LG C9 does full 4k 120hz trough HDMI
>Not a single Television in the WORLD has a native 120hz panel at 4k.
In reality if a TV does true 120hz then it's a real 4k 120hz panel
Even if HDMI limitations limit you to 1440p 120hz than the TV still has to address that panel at 4k 120hz regardless of the resolution being fed to the TV
It has to scale tha 1440p 120hz to 4k 120hz

>cause they're evil
Ah yes monitor makers have been real goody goody in comparison

>buying a tv
what a fucking loser.

My lg is 70hz I have no idea why.

who the fuck needs a tv lmao fucking normie

i got two world for ya:

burn in

for connecting it to my PC for watching movies and for console games in bed.

>lol tv is normie tech
Trying real hard to fit in right guys?

a monitor works perfectly fine for all media, tv is normie tech

Only ****** with hunchback and forward head posture watch movies sitting in front of their PC

>******

First: why the fuck would you want a TV in current year
Second: why the fuck would you need anything above 60Hz considering that TV broadcasts are 60 FPS max and movies you'd watch with a player are 24 FPS

>Using Google Voice to text to write on 4channel

i don't want anything above 60hz
and i don't watch tv, i just watch movies and play console games on tv.

Ah yeah, lemme just watch this movie on my shitty 27" monitor while sitting in my couch 4 meters away.

I honestly don't make a distinction between a TV and monitor
They are both just displays with varying characteristics
It's honestly fucking pitiful to avoid something just because of what it's called to one up normies

>Once you hit around the $1k range you get TVs that are 120hz
No, those are interpolated, or just have the backlight flashing at 120Hz. They're all 60Hz. All of them.

or 50 or 30

>Not a single Television in the WORLD has a native 120hz panel at 4k.
Complete bullshit. Native 120Hz 4K panels have been around for a few years now (all OLEDs have one as an example). The problem is that HDMI 2.1 hasn't, so they've been limited to 60Hz for most content. Some manufacturers (LG for sure) have supported 4K/120Hz content via built-in apps though. Not that there really is any. We finally have some TVs with HDMI 2.1 this year though, such as the LG OLEDs which can do 4K/120Hz complete with VRR.

Than buy anything and disable motion interpolation or whatever the fuck it's called these days

I suggest you actually do some research into shit before you post again
I know it's hard to believe even a TV can have a 120hz panel
