bookmarks are for boomers who can't remember anything without writing a sticky note about it and posting it on their bathroom mirror and fridge

to zoomers everything is disposable and they only go to a handful of websites anyway.
so i highly doubt they ever bookmark anything.

jokes on you I still forget things because 30-50% of my bookmarks since the early 2000s are 404 and I've never visited them after bookmarking them

You don’t need bookmarks when you only visit faceberg, Amazon, apple, Netflix, and google. You don’t need bookmarks on your phone when everything is an app. It internet of 25 years ago is gone.

I cant wait until there is only one website.

Zoomer here.

zoomers don't even use their web browsers, they use apps

>Do zoomers even use bookmarks
You can't be serious
Everyone uses bookmarks, even normies

>Proyect
Si vas a ser un cipayo, al menos escribí bien el inglés, negro cabeza.

As zoomer myself, no. Most of the sites I would normally use bookmarks for already have their own systems set up. For example, audiobook sites have lists you can set up to track what you've listened to and whether they have updates or not.

I put all the websites I regularly use on my homepage, so only jav and hentai is in there really.

I use a firefox-based browser though.

>cipayo
>negro cabeza

¿Pero qué idioma es este? Me cago en tu vida.

Yep

I use the onetab browser extension. I agree that the bookmark UX is garbage.

No. I go on like 10 websites daily. I can memorize 10 urls because I'm not a millennial with consumerist brainrot.

bookmarks are for personal SEO so it's easier to google the shit you need on a recurrent bases / get it straight away just by typing a keyword or two.

classic boomer can't keep up with the times

Bookmarks are based as fuck in Firefox.

Only thing you have to worry about is not to sync at work unless you want hundreds of hentai URLs showing up when you are googling shit in front of your boss.

Also most browsers autofill even addresses now.

I got few dozen bookmarks/search keywords. My history is set to delete everything so I only need the essentials.

What the hell is wrong with chromium bookmarks? I like it better than fartfox's system.

>not keeping bookmarks under source control
>not creating complex, yet intuitive hierarchies and tagging systems to track your bookmarks and your intentions with them
ITT: Never gonna make it.exe

teach me, please

I use bookmarks but it's literally just thousands of bookmarks thrown into the "Other bookmarks" folder. 90% of it is porn.
It's completely unoranized. All I really do is dump stuff in that folder, add keywords to the title field and search through it as needed.

Do you know how to use GitHub and a text editor?

Approach A (pleb-tier):
> Manage all bookmarks in a single big Bookmarks.md file stored in a private GitHub repository. This has advantages of being ctrl-f-able and exceedingly easy to replicate.

Approach B (Merlin-tier):
> Create a new GitHub repository under your profile called "my-bookmarks". Every time you find something you like, you can create a new issue on this repository, put the hyperlink into the issue title, and describe its purpose. Additionally, you can use Github's powerful tagging system to assign a wide range of categorization and tracking approaches to your bookmarks. Use comments on each bookmark issue to track your progress or findings. Creation of a browser plugin which enables the ability to press ctrl+B or whatever and have it automatically post an issue to your repository via the GH API is left as an exercise to the wizard. You could even use the same repository!

Jesus... thank you for the guidance.

now add a travis CI integration

which could be used to execute nightly jobs which load every website you are tracking in an issue, take a screenshot using a headless browser, and then compile a PDF of the actual front-page of your internet which is delivered to your dropbox every morning. Based on your applied issue labels, various chapters could be organized automatically.

This also has advantages of keeping all malicious tracking shit off your computers and inside Bezos's cloudy asshole.

Do you have any online resources that I can use to run me through this? I have almost no experience w/ GitHub...

I don't have time to hand-hold, but if you google "Travis CI + GitHub tutorial" you can start to put 2+2 together really fast. All you really need:
>some python or similar simple as fuck scripting language that can be used to poll the GitHub API using your token to scrape all issue titles into a list of URLs
>some scripted headless browser (just google this) that you call in a loop over the URLs, take screenshots and shit PNGs onto disk.
>some script that then compiles a PDF from the PNGs.
>DropBox API integration to push the file to wherever you want it.
>connect travis ci to GitHub, this is fucking ez
>set up a scheduled job to clone your GitHub repository containing said scripts and then execute them as required.
Easy money. You basically get free cloud compute with this approach because you are making travis do all the work. No cloud instances required on your end.

Thank you, sir! I'm glad that there are people like you in the world. You really go above and beyond.

>Bezos's cloudy asshole

thanks for the kek m'lady *tips*

>You basically get free cloud compute with this approach because you are making travis do all the work.

you forgot to mention that in this case he has to use a public repo, meaning all his loli bookmarks will be visible to everyone.

I literally type shit and it sources my bookmarks in the url bar. Why the fuck would I click through a list of shit if I already have a vague idea of the page title?

This seems like a fair caveat considering the harms imposed by loli fags upon society.

i just follow my fave twitch egirls and streamers.
