>9/12 watt chip

I thought you amd shills were crazy about power savings and low niggahurtz

i thought you intel shills were all about that 5ghz

sirs pls do the nedfull

>clocks lower than my phones SoC
>still manages to have higher TDP
HAHAHAHAHAHA

gotta drop that TDP somehow

I guess it doesn't need 5ghz when its IPC is significantly better than Zen 2. The boost clocks also aren't far from Zen 2 base clocks which are not much lower than their boost clocks.

>IPC is significantly better than Zen 2
I hope that's the case for the sake of competition, but it's probably around the same +-3%

Arm CPUs can do almost 3ghz on 5 watts

Much more

Its not, intel frequently lies about power consumption

*and ipc

>ARM CPUs can 3 billion times a second do almost nothing at only 5W
Wow!

MEANWHILE RYZEN ON 14NM CONSUMES 15W WITH 3.6GHZ BOOST AHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAH

>Base clock
Base clock doesn't mean shit anymore. I would actually appreciate it if would be even lower.

delid dis

intel cpu uses .75W for .7GHz
That makes 4.66GHz at 5W

>power consumption scales linerally
lmao

Pretty neat. I don't care though, my broken dumpster find laptop (sony vaio) with an i3 and an SSD is still running just fine.

Can your Poozen go that LOW? Well, AMDrones? Thought so.

who tf uses y series processors,

id only accept that on umpc's and its great there

>linerally

>Zen 2 goes full-boost at idle instead of clocking down because the only time it can actually reach full boost is when it does nothing
AMD fucked up idle power consumption just for the sake of proving they are not lying about their boost clocks

What's the IPC on this thing though?

...

18-40% better ipc
