Umm user, intel just released 10nm laptop cpus. You wasted money on ancient garbage.

How can it be garbage if it's not Intel?

Same thing with A485 vs T480

Lenovo artificially restricted the APU to ~12W (plus some other limitation; AMD has dual throttling mechanisms other than thermal, one of them being power limits and the other being Tskin temperature(STAPM)) whereas the Intel counterpart hovers around 20-25W. This is not a problem with the AMD APUs however, as the reverse is true for the E series, whereby the E485 outperforms the E480 significantly because the APU variant was not limited for some reason but the Intel one was gimped to 10-15W so that higher-end X and T series can sell.

>Lenovo 9 series
>Not garbage
Soldered RAM(Partially for your T495), soldered WiFi card(not for your model though), no more powerbridge but 50Wh internal battery, no FPR light indicator, still a 30pin screen connector(so you cannot use hi-res/refresh displays), still no TB3 for AMD versions and the list goes on and on

Also, they changed to the keyboard previously used on T480s/L/E series which instead of loosening 2 screws at the bottom, you have to prise the trackpoint buttons open and unscrew it there. Not a big problem but still.

Even though the Ryzen 2000 APUs consumes more idle power, a 97Wh combined battery will still outlast your 3000 APU with 50Wh battery.

You could have gone with a Ryzen Elitebook

>masterrace

Congrats on your machine it looks great !

(anyway it's a little bit slower than intel counterpart in the cpu side but it totally destroys it on the integrated gpu side)

>clickpad
>good

>too autismo to move hands slightly to left
>completely fine with retard-tier numeric row
lmao @ ur life, just post your macbook already

tf is a clickpad

Nice, naww i wanted a 13 or a 14" at max plus, something under $700. As for power I just need to login into my jobs VM and work from there.

As long as I can do some basic gaming as I wait at the airport and shit. Thanks user!

Touchpad with a shitty button under it

Good for you, user
FYI, my T550 was $330 used, but its supremely underpowered comparatively (5th gen i5, iirc)
never use it, was never a fan of the nipple either
bought a $20 bluetooth logitech and never looked back

What you got moonrunes on there for?

Enjoy dealing with buggy drivers for the next 2 years.
