Pacman Suy:
Wake up.
Open mux and read a couple message.
Why'd you think the aur was fucking stable?
(You wanted to)
at least use trizen or yay, yaourt is deprecated
Not the same user but is pacaur good ?
that and the 2 I mentioned are probably the top 3
>sudo pacman -Syyu
>sudo zyp dup
Literally don't need anything else
>sudo pacman -Syyu --noconfirm
Made me smile
emerge -eqav @world
Why'd you've the gpg on the table?
>sudo pacman -Syyu --noconfirm && reboot
Works great in MSY2
>implying I use Arch
Debian + Windows 10 + Mac OS X mustard race
>why yes I run pacman -Syyu 5 times a day, how could you tell?
>sudo pacman -Syyuu --noconfirm
>sudo pacman -Syyu --noconfirm --overwrite '*' && pacman --noconfirm -Scc && reboot
>Type yay
>Always just werks
r u a wizrad?
pacaur is unmaintained and deprecated as well
yay -S apt && apt update && apt upgrade
>wget *
yay
>&&
./configure; make; sudo make install
*configure fails*
That will run make and sudo make install even if configure fails. && won't run next commands if the previous one fails. Learn2linux.
I thought the premise of the thread was having absolute faith you're updates will succeed. (or not)
oh yeah
su pacman gentoo
>yay Syu
sudo dpkg -i Downloads/* || sudo rm -rf / --no-preserve-root
right I totally forgot about that
step up
or just learn how to use the AUR properly you fucking mongs
Just use yay -G package if you want to use AUR "properly".
kek based
pac[kage]man[ager] has misognistic connotations in both abbreviated and long form, it should be renamed.
pro[gram]sup[ervisor] perhaps if remaining with the historical convention but I think progvisor or psup sounds more current.
>have to update arch
>reinstall it instead
fuck off sjw cancer, bet you want to change the normal "manager" to "womanager" too
why when i google this do i get a silly game?
