Buy new tri-band router

enjoy your cancer

but do you have the speed to match the router? if not you're pretty much just overcompensating. if you just wanted range two APs would work better.

Why are you posting this again? Nothing better to do? At least it's not Intel or amd shit but you could think of another topic jeez

Lucifer, I summon thee to my black mass
I call upon you to complete my evil task.
My heart is black and my soul is dead
Hear my words of hate give me strength.

We already had this thread a few hours ago

He posted again because he’s starved for attention.

APs suck, there's a disconnect and a re-connect to the second AP

this router has been completely btfo on many tests as not being able to do anything close to what it claims

>move into new apartment
>my previously fine router is literally unusable, dropping every other second, sub 1Mbps speeds
>next wall neighbor has TWO apple something routers drowning everything in *every* channel
>get an overkill router
>10/10 signal and speeds
>i can cross the street and still get a solid wifi signal
i can't imagine they're very happy with that.
>ssid: fuck your wifi

>consumer WAPs and Modem/Gateway combos being discussed on Jow Forums

None of you have ever had a job, huh?

Fucking based

literally just buy a ubnt access point and be done with it. these fucking retarded spider looking meme routers are apple-tier.

>buying literal data miners for ubiquiti
Ohnononononono

t. turbobrainlet

Ain't any worse the jewgle.

Why are those antennas so broad and thick, when there's just a tiny wire inside of the plastic cases?

Pic related

If they actually had a broad antenna inside, they'd have shit reception

Because gaymer duh?

This fucking post again? Go read a book or something

capacitance

no shit
if you really want to make them suffer, try increasing your band size to 40 or even 80 MHz [may be illegal]

because they have to embrace the crab aesthetic

>buy new router
>router starts saying shit about something called NOD or whatever

kek

I wish more devices used circular polarization
Imagine being able to stagger bands with lhcp and rhcp instead of sitting on the three correct bands and the other fucking bullshit retard bands

broad, thick, solid, tight

is there anything that currently utilizes circularly polarized antennas out of the box?

Lol

all wifi hardware have the same max Tx power, newer wireless AP might have multi-channel capability but that won't help the signal magically reach farther.

what an idiot thread

I don't think there is actually

kek

Change your channels then. No reason to sit ontop of others unless you enjoy subpar performance.

terminal cancer

kek peace through power fren

>falling for the antenna meme
Ruckus, mikrotik or ubiquiti are the only acceptable options

Tri-band isn't doing shit over dual-band unless you have a million 5 GHz devices on it at the same time
>neighbours complaining about internet being slow and some network called “ChadCity Bitch” is full strength everywhere
And then everyone stood up and clapped

I just use a powerline adapter.

what are the speeds like on those?

Not bad. I'm also streaming some bullshit and have youtube running. They're rated to 2gb/s, but you're not gonna get more than 450mb/s unless your house is fairly new with good wiring. The fiber lines aren't completed yet, so I won't be able to test gigabit service for a while yet. If you have a large house, or have a router on a different floor than where your desk is, I think they are better than wifi.

Take off the plastic wrap reee
What are you worried about, the resale value of your router?
