It was pretty fucking nice on the bb classic I had. It was a shame it got almost no developer support. Adding the Android runtime was both the nail in the coffin for anyone bothering to develop native apps and the only way the thing would be usable.

former 535 owner here. I was sad too until i switched and saw how much development went into Android in the last 4 years and how many features were added compared to Windows Phone. Take the plunge.
