I do get over it when I see them in public. I don't treat gay people any different than I treat straight people. You're right, hate is too strong a word. Being gay definitely loses points with me though.

i don’t hate gays and if i’m honest i might actually be bi, but i can admit that its not normal to be gay. it’s impossible to be normal because gays need straight people to exist. they can’t sustain themselves and therefor can’t create a norm

I probably agree that it is "abnormal" but I think humans do tons of shit that is abnormal.
Choosing to stay single or choosing not to have kids is also probably abnormal but a small percentage of people doing that isn't necessarily harmful to a modern human society and in some cases could be beneficial.

Also I do think there is some truth to the whole breeding thing.
I genuinely believe that humans cannot maintain sustainable & successful societies with endless population growth (with current tech).

For most countries the ideal situation would be growth up to a certain level and then no growth and no decline aka equilibrium or whatever and those ideal levels are probably much smaller in most countries then their current 2018 population levels.

Places like Japan for reasons of self-sufficiency would probably be better off with a much smaller overall population size and if you wanted to cap population growth at 1:1 there or anywhere else you'd probably have to have some people choosing a childless life.
