I mean $5000 is worth it for something you look at and use every single day, right?

no i am too poor

I don't know. That stand really throws my wallet through the wringer. Pressed flat.

we can absolutely afford it but we have enough sense to not buy this garbage

>stand
why aren't you using a Vesa mount in 2019?

Attached: disgusted.jpg (800x450, 43K)

>we have enough sense to not buy this garbage
what makes this monitor garbage?
the fact that it doesn't have a high refresh rate to cater to gamerbois?

overpriced garbage, not literal unusable garbage
also high refresh rate gaming is a meme

lol how is this overpriced, the competition is against $40,000 reference monitors
and you the consumer get to benefit from the bonus features of this competition

>6k for a fucking monitor.
yeah I’m totally gonna buy that.

No

>i-it's totally as good as industry-standard reference monitors we swear
dumbass
when has apple ever delivered

Attached: ENDLESS TRASH.jpg (920x717, 79K)

Does it use Display Port of some retarded Apple connector (with cables never exceeding 1m)?

>5k monitior
Would rather make a down payment on the new corvette mid engine

I think it will be popular among creatives in Japan who already pay out the ass for Eizo

Who here would buy if they did deliver and independent reputable reviewers testified to that fact?

Attached: arBfyjS.jpg (867x1227, 289K)

if it actually did everything it claimed to do?
i'd consider it if i needed a reference monitor

>pro display XDR
LMAO! When I look closer at display I clearly see pixels! There's nothing (((pro))) with such big pixels!

>nano-texture glass
So, smooth? And it needs to be mentioned exactly why?

>>nano-texture glass
>So, smooth? And it needs to be mentioned exactly why?

$1000 for a fucking matte screen LMAO

Probably etched glass. It's a feature on some art displays

>we can absolutely afford it
Imagine being this insecure lmao

>it's a feature
What does it give? Better colors, contrast, brightness or something?

If it worked normally on windows I *might*, if it were $1000 cheaper. Proprietary mac only connector and that price, eh... its just too much. It is a shame it does look interesting.

>meme thread created with the intention of going LMFAO BET U CAN'T AFFORD IT
>"we can afford it"
>WOW LOOK AT THIS CLOWN

Attached: UNNNNNNGH.jpg (640x427, 96K)

Are you going to show a bunch of $100 bills on your desk next to your Bapes?
lmao

>not keeping all your funds as gold and having it buried in the backyard
idiot

>competition is reference monitors
Wasn't this debunked in several threads when it was announced?
iirc most people agreed that it's good consumer/prosumer monitor, but shit as reference monitor

No, I will be satisfied with with my Dell Ultrasharps for quite some time.

based and poorpilled

Do you actually believe an Apple display could match a reference monitor? Because that's hilarious.

Filmmaker here. This is exactly the key. It won't.

A reference monitor priced at $25,000 is in 4K resolution. How can Apple possibly offer a color accurate monitor in 6K res? Nonsense.

Not even the contrast will be similar. It's absurd.

Mainly durability, which is why cintiqs use it. It can also look better than certain matte coating. Most matte coatings are just that, a coating, or a film. They can get damaged, degrade, etc.

Oh yeah faggot? What if I stroll up to your house with a metal detector and jump the gate while you aren't home? Huh?

i suffer from a chronic illness and don't leave the house very often

Is it OLED?

I'm a diff dude (not this cunt ).

Sorry to hear that. What is the chronic illness if you don't mind?

>What is the chronic illness if you don't mind?
being a neet

Just get Jow Forums, dude

No.
Anything Apple post 2013 is pure trash.

>Pro Stand and VESA Mount Adapter sold separately
Kek, you don't even get the full thing. Pay up, goy.

>60hz garbage.

Lmao fucking hz-bums.

>apploo copying asians AGAIN

Reference monitors don't cost that much just because the screen is really good. They come with built-in ancillaries for interfacing directly with cinema cameras for real-time viewing. That means expensive bespoke hardware. A good chunk of the cost is just due to being a niche product.
The point of apple's gambit is that even with a blackmagic breakout box, the total system cost is cheaper. Most people who need an HDR ref monitor don't need it to be a portable, self-contained unit. By offloading compute duty onto a computer instead of bespoke hardware, apple's solution is cheaper and modular.

But as a larping Filmmaker, I'm sure you knew all that already, right?

>imagine being so consumer-cuck you think stands and mounts should come standard on all monitors

>OLED
>reference display
Nice contradiction.

no
it's FALD shit
