Just a reminder that xfce 4.14 is released today.
XFCE 4.14
yes, but when will it hit debian?
>current year
>using old, outdated tech
>not getting on the LXQt bandwagon
been using xfce daily on my x200 since a couple of years without hickups. what is better about lxqt? (honest question)
debian are planning to include it in their 2042 release.
Arch will probably release it 10ms after it is released
It isn't dead.
have you read OP?
Will it be more skeumorphic?
>skeumorphic
pls no
Does it still screen tear?
Thanks for the reminder, OP. Wonder when Fedora will have it ready.
No tearing on my machine :^)
Does it have high dpi scaling yet?
>LXQt
I'm not besta testing that garbage
i'll use it when it's finished, thank you very much. until then its trinity, icewm or mwm for me
have you tried pic related?
Tiling option when
reminder than plasma is getting better at gtk features than the gtk desktops themselves
You convinced me to stay with XFCE. Thanks!
yeaaah, about that...
not happening today, I guess
wiki.xfce.org
Used both and kekd hard.
is xfce kinda buggy for anyone else? i had all sorts of minor issues. panel not loading on startup, difficult setting time format, application launcher not resizing. lots of little things. i was using it on mint.
nope, no problems. Then again, I don't tinker much with options etc.
Yeah, but is hard to argue with that 180mb oh RAM usage.
But it's also shittier. I have VMs running both and XFCE is a better experience.
LXQt is best.
You're retarded. It's as stable as Xfce and its built-in WM is Openbox, which makes people cum every time they use it. Its awesome.
No, LXQt is far better, and offers more to the user than Xfce. That's a fact.
No u
How does it differ from lxde?
so when is it coming to slackware?
>Hong Jen Yee
his name sounds like a small firework going off
