If you don't have years of computing experience, then the OS is absolutely useless. I'm a math major (AKA, something much harder and more rigorous than comp sci), and my IQ has been measured at 134 with the WAIS-IV (not that high but linuxfags love to call everyone brainlets) and I struggled with Arch. Of course, now I have a much better grasp of things, but there is a learning curve that linux pajeets like to pretend doesn't exist
