Dissenter

Use Safari, don't use Chrome

you should be using anything based on gecko (firefox, waterfox, seamonkey and so on) or webkit (webpositive or safari or omniweb and so on). anything based on chromium / blink is just contributing further to google's monetization and monopolization of the web, along with their data harvesting efforts and routinely breaking web standards.

VIVALDI

Epic Privacy Web Browser

Any you want, don't listen to these paranoid schizos.

chromium is hands down the best

>using a fork of a fork of a fork that doesn't add anything good or new

use pale moon or seamonkey, never use anything that is made by google

good:
chromium
firefox
vivaldi if you don't care about closed source
qutebrowser
falkon
bad:
rest of the other browsers

AH H H H HEEMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM......

>Jow Forums tier
Degoogled chromium,
Firefox fork eg. Waterford or just old Firefox,
>freedom tier
Icecat

> Which browsers should I be using
Firefox on desktop, something chromium based on mobile because Firefox mobile is still a shitshow.
> Which browsers should I never be using
Actual Chrome with Google spyware built in

is nu-firefox that bad

fuck, I honestly gotta agree with you.

t. chromium fork user

Filled with pride over your browser choice, user?

>which browsers should I be using?
Firefox if you don't want to be datamined/want customization
IceCat if the above applies and you're also a freetard
Chrome if you have embraced the botnet
>which browsers should I never be using?
Pale Moon
Waterfox
Any of the Chromium meme forks like Dissenter

otter

I think I'm finally done with Firefox.
I can't get on Jow Forums, Gab, and strangely Omegle using it.
I'm posting from IE.
They made me open up Internet Explorer again.

Using web browser on mobile. The absolute madman.

the best will be always ungoogled chromium on woolys site

what the fuck is the difference between ff quantum and normal ff, fuck this capitalist shit, if one's better than the other, why are both available???

there are only two browsers, firefox and chrome and you should be using firefox

Based.

unironically this

It's worse than you are pribably imagining. Every change they make nowadays is an attempt to copy or clone some feature from chrome, and they straight up remove features that chrome doesn't have. Post Firefox-56 is unironically worse than google chrome (not chromium or a fork, the actual google one)

This is a completely uninformed and tech-illiterate opinion. Aside from the absence of xul, firefox is still way more flexible and functional than chromium or anything based on it. This is an incontrovertible fact. All you have to do is examine about:config to see that.

A 100 times this.

>includes google safe browsing
into the trash it goes

this

sadly is right (third choice is Safari, but event applefags rarely use it), using chrome-derived browser gives google more and more power to do whatever the fuck they want with the web

What's wrong with Pale Moon and Waterfox?

Where are you Omi?

fagoooot

use any browser you want, but Firefox is the best overall.
heres a list of safe practices, listed from crucial to arbitrary:

don't elevate it.
don't use extensions.
uninstall and find an enterprise binary, configure install and app features like a boss
set your search engine to duckduckgo.
dont let it save your passwords or set up proper 2FA

>set your search engine to duckduckgo
There are smoothbrains out there that don't do this on Jow Forums

dissenter is for paranoid conservative retards.

>which browsers should I be using?
ungoogled-chromium
>which browsers should I never be using?
anything else

>don't use extensions.

Assange uses Surfraw.

comodo browser best

This is some high level of retardation

is Opera good?

Iridium if you need Chrome engine

GNU IceCat if you need Firefox (Waterfox or Palemoon if you're on Windows, I don't trust unofficial Windows port of IceCat)

Brave if you really need browser sync between computer and smartphone (use on both)

question

I know Iridium doesn't do sync or casting, but is there any loss of page behavior compared to Chrome when using Google's webapps like YouTube or Drive?

I want to uninstall Chrome and switch to Iridium on Windows

Chromium fork with hardware accelerated video decode on linux

Just use brave if you want more speed with a little privacy.
For a elite tier privacy use firefox with all telemetry shit activated.

top kek

Third post best post

Use Microsoft Edge Chromium

Tell me about palemoon. A friend uses it and she knows her shit.

It's a fork of legacy firefox. Ironically, it's faster on newer than craptops. It has legacy ublock but nothing much else, most extensions from Firefox don't work with Palemoon. Basically it's lighter Firefox. I used to use it until the malware incident, at which point I moved to Firefox.
You're better off using plain Firefox in my opinion, extension support is too valuable.

>making a browser out of a Broadway musical

Not anymore. THe guy behind it left after it went through some shitty changed and created Vivaldi which is great.
