Oh but it do
Those icons look slick, especially FF
looks like you want a windows like experience
Check the date on the bottom right.
I'm a tech retard using vista and drive swapping to xubuntu 16.04
I'm using a Thinkpad z61t
All I need my laptop to do is shitpost and download YouTube videos to play in 720p
Can a person who relies on googling all their Linux problems use openbsd to accomplish those goals?
I just want to try different operating systems, I wanted to install a copy of vector Linux from 2005 because it looks cool but it didn't know how to handle an SSD, so I can manage a non graphical installer but I do prefer the Ubuntu style graphical installers
tell me about quirks and features of this car
Its funny because the only use for bsd is basically stealing the code and contributing nothing back (see ps4 for example)
Here are the obnoxious Amiga faggots once again.
It's still the same PDP-11 emulator shit, you are delusional if you believe it has anything to offer over the mainstream options.
are you chilling your work?
>chilling
dumb phoneposter
Name one (1) FreeBSD based distro that just works and isn't macOS. Fuck text installers and manually installing Xorg and everything else. This isn't 1992.
bright red & black evil hacker vibes
At least enable your ASLR which is now possible and off by default in the year of the lord 2019.
lel
No reason to use bsd in 2019.
Not a single advantage over linux anymore.
You should be fine
In haskell and upper, only supports C1E c-state, so battery blows. I dont know if you are concerned about this.
Why would I use an OS whose developers feel a need to use diabolical symbolism? I get it that you don't care either way if you're not a believer and that's fine, but it's a deal breaker for me.

Yes, this is how the majority start.
I suggest you do a regular install on a usb drive to test it first.
It's like a normal install only on the usb drive.
If it works for you you could even stop drive swapping and just carry the usb around.
I thought so at first too, however the meaning is from the Unix use of daemons.
macOS
>spamming Jow Forums with BSD again
it doesnt get more shilling than this either
yeah, we want more high quality apple, intel, amd and smartphone threads, this thread is killing all the great content.
looks pretty comfy to me
Yeah I sure love using GNU+Linux but slower and without drivers.
My battery is long dead, not a big deal
How small would it be? Could I just keep the whole thing on a 16gb USB? Speed isn't a big issue on this old laptop
