There was NOTHING in the paper/experiment that indicates the WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS affected the brain cells at all. The smartphones were use SOLELY to communicate with the implant, which then interacted DIRECTLY with the neurons.
Literally nothing to do with 5G (it's using bluetooth LE), and nothing to do with wireless affecting brain cells.
