Is there a command line client that actively lots every block transferred? It would be cool to keep it open in a window so numbers flash constantly. It would impress my friends.

>"best"
>half the releases don't even work

Let me guess, you guys also run Linux and like the challenge of finding that one release that kinda sorta occasionally works.

I have used almost all of them and I've landed on BiglyBT. It does everything I want.

Works on my machine

Transmission-gtk

utorrent has been shit for a while now

Still going.
Dropped to near 4.0 ratio after one month with 4TB downloaded (exceeding my connection's maximum possible upload), but I'm slowly working my way back up.

Publishers often refer to copying they don't approve of as “piracy.” In this way, they imply that it is ethically equivalent to attacking ships on the high seas, kidnapping and murdering the people on them. Based on such propaganda, they have procured laws in most of the world to forbid copying in most (or sometimes all) circumstances. (They are still pressuring to make these prohibitions more complete.)
If you don't believe that copying not approved by the publisher is just like kidnapping and murder, you might prefer not to use the word “piracy” to describe it. Neutral terms such as “unauthorized copying” (or “prohibited copying” for the situation where it is illegal) are available for use instead. Some of us might even prefer to use a positive term such as “sharing information with your neighbor.”

>not using qbittorrent

On my windows machines i use qbittorrent. On my linux machines i use transmission and sometimes deluge

no, this is the sane persons torrrent application

Some are botnet

Deluge

Nothing

>Torrenting is always bad
>Paying for Windows
>Supporting Microsoft
Every employee of Microsoft should be round up and shot
It's immoral to pay for Windows
uTorrent is very botnet, if not the most botnet software there is
Having never tried qbittorrent, I didn't know they had that
kat was the best after the pirate bay got filled with malware, that would be very useful

Others prefer the term theft

Same here. It just werks.

transmission is best unless you’re autistic then deluge

Why yes, I do use Torrent Tornado for Firefox, how could you tell?

Attached: gigachad.jpg (1068x601, 65K)

I use transmission-daemon and transmission-remote to control it. Wish I could find a more convinient option, but I'm ssh-ing to the box which downloads torrents.

>half the releases don't even work

What? Can you translate this into tech literate?

Transmission-daemon and stig, or the web interface, or transmission-remote, and so on.

2.2.1

What's wrong with it? Works for me.

Ktorrent. It just werks

>Dangerous elements in some
>Compatibility with private trackers (i.e. some are blacklisted)
>Behaviour when torrenting extremely large sets of files
>Extensibility with plugins
>Internal architecture features that may adapt better to your needs (e.g. deluged and its 3 clients)
The best client is deluged, and as the client's client you should use Deluge on desktop and deluge-console for high-performance needs. Nothing beats deluged when it comes to flexibility and performance.

There's really no reason to bicker between qbitTorrent, Transmission, Ktorrent and Deluge.
The consensus is basically don't use BitTorrent, uTorrent and Vuze.

>using delusional
>not using chad rtorrent
