god why did they have to fuck up the keyboard? it is crying out for a numberpad on the 15

Numberpads make laptop keyboards asymetrical and gay, just buy a bluetooth numberpad and let the rest enjoy a better keyboard distribution

I own the 13 inch one and it's really fucked up. Do not purchase

High end zenbooks and hp's are good too.

then make the keyboard bigger with better spacing. it looks fucking ridiculous

>Which laptop is somewhat portable
Literally every single laptop every made.
Thinness is about fashion, nothing else.

3rd gen x1s are so cheap second hand

and they have such dogshit cpus, panels and speakers

I gonna buy xps15 but dont know if 4k OLED meme or just FHD matte.
4k is glossy, reee.

be careful with coil whine

>zenbook
not even once

X1E / P1

this desu
>bought a zenbook s ux391ua
>after a couple months the case fan started making a very scary vibrating noise, like a phone on the table getting notifications but twice as loud
>sent it in to get it fixed
>week after getting it back started again
>went back and got a refund

Define somewhat portable. Basically all laptops are somewhat portable by my definition.

Yes, I'm very happy with mine: doesn't overheat, great IPS screen, looks and feels really nice, seems quite solid, core i5 8300H is rather powerfull, GTX 1050 is ok.
It's really better than the lower ends laptops I had before.

Look for ram and ssd prices because upgrading it yourself can be way cheaper than going for the higher end models.

I almost did OP, but I saw an open box Lenovo y530 for $500 instead. Check out the open box items! Even when I got fucked, I won out. Otherwise your paying for 'premium'

At least

If you bump that up to 2.5kg you can get a 9980HK+2070 or the like

additionally:
There are 2.09kg ones that you can get a 9750H+2080 in if you prefer that.

Someone has tried the razer blade stealth?
