You have to admit, Jow Forums, this is a step forward for credit cards. No numbers on the front or back. Works with your existing tech. Will probably push every other company to make cards like this or better.
Even if the Apple Card isn't perfect, you have to admit that the Apple Card is going to spur the creation of credit cards that will be more secure and more tech-oriented instead of the same old shit that anybody can copy the numbers off of and scam you with.
Anybody who has ever had their card stolen, copied, or hijacked online should appreciate that tech is finally making payments more secure.
It's the nicest looking credit card, I'll give it that. Too bad that's not going to be enough.
Jordan Morris
>Even if the Apple Card isn't perfect, you have to admit that the Apple Card is going to spur the creation of credit cards that will be more secure and more tech-oriented instead of the same old shit that anybody can copy the numbers off of and scam you with. No. Once again Apple aren't particularly the first and they're making so many dumb decisions (like poor as fuck credit ratings and material design) that it will invariably turn into a shitshow within six months.
Joseph Gonzalez
Nobody fucking steals credit card numbers by writing them down. See that little magnetic strip on the back? As long as it has that it's still gonna be skimmed.
It's just a marketing gimmick. It's a plain-ass chip card made out of a titanium alloy for no reason.
Jacob Jenkins
If you're stupid enough to get your card stolen or scanned, no amount of hand holding is going to stop theft without locking the card to a closed ecosystem of apple approved retailers. This product provides you nothing, but it allows Apple to move into debt collection.
Mason Long
Apple isn't giving you credit; Goldman Sachs is. You really think Apple is going to move out of their comfort zone?
Grayson Brooks
Now she can spend her sugar daddy's money more... something.
Jacob Campbell
she makes her own money, sweaty
Xavier Cruz
She farted when Steve Jobs died
Ryan Green
So it's just a regular designer credit card from your typical creditor.
HOW THE FUCK THIS IS STEP FORWARD? CAN SOMEONE FUCKING EXPLAIN TO ME HOW THIS APPLE CARD IS BETTER OVER DEBIT CONTACTLESS CARD? Mind you, I don't live in shit hole where you have to build your credit score to get a loan.
What's the difference between an Apple card and a normal credit card with the numbers filed off?
Landon Taylor
>See that little magnetic strip on the back? As long as it has that it's still gonna be skimmed. Finally, someone else gets it, instead of falling for the "it doesn't have a permanent card number" meme
Gavin Howard
I use my Coinbase card all the time. I sell some shit crypto for ETH, transfer it to my Goybase account, and then spend it on whatever. Saves fees and makes it easy to spend my crypto.
The big brain move is to use it the same you would a debit card
Ryder Reed
Ah, the old "Ten dollars of debt and the bank owns you, ten million and you own thebank" kind of mindset? Can't really fault it, but the trouble is in the initial act of getting your ten million.
Asher Gray
Get a job, work weekends. Do you honestly think a bank will just hand you a credit card with zero income?
John Richardson
The Apple Card is different
Goldman Sachs doesn’t income verify from what I heard
Lucas Watson
There's nothing more embarrassing than being see with a Poverty Card.
If someone steals your credit card, you can get out of the resultant bill in most cases. If someone steals your debit card, the bank won’t reimburse you for the money that gets taken from the account it’s drawn from.
Just make sure you don’t have a balance at the end of the month and you’ll be fine with a CC. Though there’s by far better cards on the market for that use than an Applel Card.
Ian King
You do know that Ponzi schemes land you in jail now?
Jeremiah Harris
Welfare is a ponzi scheme too
Isaac Murphy
Tell that to Adam Neumann and Miguel McKelvey.

>mfw amazon prime visa backed by chase with a $3k limit on ZERO credit >mfw they offered to double the limit to $6k within a year at 660 credit >mfw I just picked up a IHG mastercard from chase this week with a $10k limit on just 704 credit >mfw 18 months in and 704 credit score with a $16.500 credit limit from one source >mfw this increase in limit will bring utilization from 40% to like 8% and increase the score a ton as well. >mfw 21% and 24% apr >mfw
Only thing I really plan on using is Google/Samsung Pay. NFC payments are convenient as fuck, especially when you only have a debit card. No risk because your phone has more security than your wallet.
Ethan Rodriguez
Sucks to be a burger, I guess.
Not really. Why to you think so?
Literally who?
Leo Bailey
>If someone steals your debit card, the bank won’t reimburse you for the money that gets taken from the account it’s drawn from. Entirely depends on the bank in question. Some banks offer incredible fraud protection including low-key monitoring (mostly region changes, not so much spending habits). My bank offers a 10k protection in the event of fraud, which is spectacular. However they do so reluctantly and only if you can provide some modicum of evidence to support that it is fraud.
Joshua Perez
my bank does spending habit and region protection. Recently I went to vegas and I think I used the debit card to buy from a couple of stores sub $20 charges, and then the next day went to an atm to withdraw 300 and it declined me, had to answer a text to confirm.
Ryan Rodriguez
>If someone steals your debit card, the bank won’t reimburse you for the money that gets taken from the account it’s drawn from. Yes it does. All debit cards have theft protection, unless you have a shitty bank. My credit union did it when I got my wallet stolen inside my backpack by a literal nigger during my college years.
Adrian Nelson
If you can use it
Samuel Bell
Fucking finally! That's what this thread deserves.
Jacob Ortiz
Thank you very much! The hero we need.
Jayden Gomez
>However they do so reluctantly and only if you can provide some modicum of evidence to support that it is fraud. All you have to do is provide a copy of the police report and that's how I got my debit card money back from my bank. Plus they investigated the charges and found out where the nigger took my card.
Oliver Nguyen
>(((credit score))) Ah, yes, the art of getting in debt so you can later get into a bigger one.

Web-based card? Sure, credit/debit cards are already web-based as they require an internet connection at the terminal to work. Apple card? Shit no, why anyone would use a fucking credit card tied to a specific brand of smartphone is beyond me.
They have been deleting internetexplorer.gif threads all day, but this stays up, do you really need any more confirmation? This isn't even tech, at best it belongs on Jow Forums
Credit Cards are one of the things that make America shitty. Spending money you don't have is fucking stupid. And no,"you are supposed to pay it back at the end of the month" isn't a valid argument. If you have the money, then why even take out a credit? It maybe made some sense when communication between banks was slow so it made more sense yo do it in a big batch each month, but with the technology of today there is no reason not to use debit cards. Or better yet, use fucking cash and leave the jew out of the picture completely.
Cooper Turner
>This exact thread is not about card itself Yes it is.
You're the one making it about e-celebs. This thread is about the card. The video is just as relevant as any Linus video and his videos get posted here every day.
This is an apple card. This is tech. Stop pretending to be dumb.
