Not everyone had a good childhood. I dealt with abusive parents and batshit insane siblings. About a week after moving out, I realized why my friends liked being at home, because it was supposed to be.a place where you could feel safe and be yourself. Something I never felt until I moved out. Childhood sucked, while there are a handful of fond moments, I wouldn't go back to it for the world.
