How is this a shit post? I eat about 1500 calories a day and have lost weight. I’m currently 194lbs 6’. I need to be 175 to get out of the overweight zone. You don’t HAVE to exercise to lose weight but exercise is good. I have been sick and rather laying around gaining weight I just stopped eating like a fatso.

But then I lost over 20kg just by going with a low carb diet consisting of eggs, leafy greens and meat, with no exercise. I only recently reintroduced carbs into my diet because I started going to the gym and needed the muscle energy that only glycogen can provide.

The other user is right, simple calorie in/out is far from the whole truth. Sure you can starve yourself and you're gonna lose weight no matter what, but unless the diet is planned well you're gonna get nutritional deficiencies. Also, what you eat does matter, for some people simply cutting carbs works well even if their calorie intake is above the daily recommendation. If the human body consumed everything you put into it you would never need to defecate.
