Why weren't they a thing?
Netbooks/ Pocket Laptops
idk just asked my gf what she thought of it and she said it was an abomination
>gf
fake news
Bad keyboards, not standard components, and generally expensive as fuck.
Intel poisoned the market with their shitty Atom cpus.
>dude, whats a tiny computer called?
>a phone?
>no, dude
smartphones came along.
netbooks
Smart phones became a thing. Then tablets dug their graves. Then better smart phones buried tablets in the same grave.
It does everything terribly and nothing very well.
The awkwardness of a mini tablet, combined with the burden of a keyboard (thats shit to type on at length.)
They are. Have been since the 80's.
You realize your picture is a physical thing you can buy and not a mockup?
They are
where can I buy one of those?
that'd be so awesome just to wip out in class or something
I'm pretty sure these count as Ultrabooks and not netbooks
what model?
Panasonic CF-RZ4. Says right on the laptop
Why would they be?
that's how you know it's good
They were all shit. The keyboards were awful, the screens unusable, atom processors, half of them were overpriced and the rest came free with a pound of jerky. It was all a side effect of the massive scam that was the OLPC movement.
pretty sure its small enough to count as a netbook
>this thing
>pocket
no way, unless you are one of those filthy sysadmins who wear cargo pants 365 days a year, you are not one of those right?.. RIGHT?
It's my dream laptop in terms of aesthetic, but its price is far from reasonable
that one shill was pretty funny, the one who made a couple of threads with
>this is your phone replacement. only has wifi btw
Your gf is an slut and fucks niggers.
