I'm having a problem finding a gpu i can run with the amount of power of 500W i got. Or is 500W not worth it these days. I've been reading most requirements & most say *500W recommended* Any suggestions anons? This is my first build.
Gpu
Most low-end to mid-range GPU's will be fine with 500w. Even a high-end one might be ok depending on your CPU. You might want to get a 650w psu just to be safe though.
Aww man i just this thing a month ago :(
Also i got a i7 8700k don't know if that helps
I meant 8700 not k sorry
>buys the FX 9590: electric boogaloo
>only has a 500w PSU
You know what. I need more power. This is now a power thread :D pls recommend me a new power supply box thingy.
i heard those diablotek PSUs are really killer!
THIS MY FIRST TIME. I am now confused
I have a 450w PSU for the following and it's fine
>2200g
>RX 580 8GB
>8GB RAM
>b450 board
>500 GB SSD
>4 Case fans
>illuminated keyboard
even at maximum stress, like in a benchmark, it pulls like 280w from the wall. Your PSU is enough.
I'm running a 1070 and OCd 6600k on a SFF 450W PSU without problems for years.
650W from Seasonic
Thanks user you wont be forgotten. Can rx cards run with intel builds ? Again first time.
5700 or 5700xt should be fine with a 500w depending on what CPU you have.
You anons are great.
yeah they can.
Seasonic 600w prime fanless.
Amazing and silent.
pcpartpicker calculates wattage for you
Ah sshhiieeett. Thanks. I've never knew about this.
>tfw owner of an evga super nova platinum 650w
>plat pleb
Dont be upset sbout my 90% efficiency. I am sensative. Kinda wish i paid up for a titanium though
You kinda don't have 90% efficiency though. At least if you count 10%.
yeah including line losses in the dx and tx, its a crapshoot
