Why not use dashlane or lastpass? The issue with keepass is it doesn't auto update the passwords you change. If you change a password then forget to manually update the database or something else gets copied to your clipboard in the meantime you're gonna be in trouble.

Not an open source app, but: Mixplorer is a god damn masterpiece, hand down best software I have executed on my phone!

shit I left youtube-dl out

in terms of most advanced open source projects other than coding languages like html or java it would have to be:

1. Open stack
2. PostgreSQL
3. Apache's Cassandra
4. Docker
5. Apache HTTP server

You know when you think about it, a large % of tech in the enterprise sector seems to be open source.

It's tarting to seem like the only people dumb enough to buy closed source software are individuals. Businesses and enterprises seem to overwhelmingly choose open source.

It seems anyone smart enough to make money is also smart enough not to toss it into to closed source software

Openstack as a whole is pretty decent.
Docker / K8S
Ceph / GlusterFS

BSD network stack...

switch to bitwarden closed source fag

a few things which aren't big complex things, but invaluable nonetheless
- tmux (terminal multiplexer)
- mosh (enhancements for ssh'ing on a roaming machine with high latency)
- fish (really comfy interactive shell)
- darkhttpd (much better temporary http file server than the one in python)
- ed (the standard text editor)
- fsearch (like Everything)
- gamemode (temporarily adjusts things for running a game)
- netcat (nearly always available for getting something from one place to another with zero setup)
- htop (tui task manager, the only one i use)
- parallel (make any shell loop parallel, can also distribute jobs to multiple remote machines using ssh)
- unclutter (hide the cursor when idle)

I'll fuck you a new pipe, user
