Right so my 2012 last non-retina, user upgradeable/repairable laptop is suddenly a fire hazard after 7 years.
I live in Thailand so that's funny. But it's not like I was ever going to put a laptop in checked luggage anyway. Carry on unless you enjoy having your electronics lost/damaged/stolen.
