I’m reminded of why CRTs still rule. No LCD monitor, even at 240hz, comes close to this

THIS KILLS THE LCDFAGS

This kills the CRTlets.

based

I too like killing my eyes with radiation

Are you the one behind all the 5G threads?

really don't care all that much since my power bill is lower, space on desk is better, and such

CRT actually emit x-rays

No user, the weight of the display kills us. It's certainly what killed my last delivery guy.

Only earlier CRTs TVs leaked x-rays.

>Old good
>New bad

Imagine ACTUALLY believing a crt is better than a 27" 4k 144hz modern display lmao.

Eh, there's still multiple problems with modern displays, from black levels, to viewing angles, to backlights, to scaling.
Scaling's the big one that's always been an issue.

Both forms of tech suck though.

Only broken CRTs. (Or extremely early CRTs, I guess, but you're not using 1930s CRTs with your computer.)

Buy a bigger table poorfag

>27" 4k 144hz modern display
Fuck outta here with them tn panels

16khz whine honestly makes them unusable.

Fuck OFF CRT shilling soi fags!

CRT monitors don't have the whine.

quake 2. lovely. i couldnt watch it for more than a minute tho. its funny how i could spend days infront of it as a kid. not to mention black and white diaspron included monitors. shiet.

>16khz whine
Only zoomers can hear this. are you allowed to be poster here bud????

Fucking zoomers discovering CRTs.
Yeah they are great, but these days only for old content that works/looks best on them.
Modern panels are superior in every way for modern content.

High framerate isn't immune to jittery motion and input lag. Blurbusters helps a bit though.

16k is still within the hearing of 20-30 year range. You've got fucked ears, or you're ancient.

15kHz only applies to TVs which had a horizontal scan rate of 15kHz. Modern VGA CRTs usually have a horizontal scan rate of 31kHz or something like that. Yes the whine is very present in TVs, but inaudible in computer monitors.

Crystal LED is better than CRT and LCD.

I'm hearing rumours that 'microLED' screens are supposed to be an apparent imitator of what CRTs are capable of pulling off, mentioning that they're able to render the colour black really damm well.
Is it true?

DLP projectors are effectively CRT. The recent super low input lag, 120hz projectors have incredible motion.

CRT hurts my eyes

Crystal led is lcd lol

hell yeah

No it's fucking not, lol

>muh games

*yawn*

>video games
Grow up.

Haha retard

I've heard there are "triple" speed color wheels now that don't rainbow when you move your eyes across. Has anyone seen this in person?

My 3LCD is getting pretty old and I want truer blacks in my next projector but dlp ranbows drive me nuts.

gieb

vga monitors do not emit an audible whine.

Were you planning to use a CGA monitor?

Scotch tape emits x-rays when unwound, too.

Better be for half a fucking million dollars

Just use Lightboost from the blurbusters website silly.

PC monitors are 31kHz+, not ~15kHz

they emit as much radiation as 10 bananas

OLED + 120hz + strobing + 4k + shaders will bring back the experience.
Can't wait to emulate all kind of display matrixes.

onions.
this guy actually looks like a gorilla.

>G400
That's the plebiest Trinitron. G500 and above or FW900 only.

bet you run away from cellphones too because they fry your brain, brainlet
