there's meant to be workarounds using userChrome and userContent to restyle certain elements yourself, but they're not functional.
you can install shadowfox from github, but this'll still have some flicker on idiot websites. makes most everything true dark though. it's the same principle with userChrome and userContent, but more comprehensive.

There's something wrong with your eyes or your monitor settings if displaying white is "blinding" to you. You can easily check your monitor settings, though if you get blinded in bright surroundings in general you should consult a doctor, that's not normal.
