What android keyboard do you guys use? I feel like everything is botnet or horrible FOSS alternative

Samsung keyboard.
There is literally NO ALTERNATIVE if you want a proper multilingual keyboard with proper asian language support.

Gboard, it has the best swipe typing.

simple keyboard - the long press setup is superior.

SwiftKey because themes and Microsoft integration :)

Hacker's Keyboard is the best, especially if you have a large screen device.

I like the fact that it is ridiculously customizable.

I use the pysical keyboard on my blackberry keyone

Saves typing preferences to my Microsoft account and works on other devices i have. Same experience across all of them, with the same suggestions.

Also works tremendously good when mixing 3 languages (I speak native english, spanish and russian)

My Q10's, if I had to use Android it'd either be a Priv or a Key2 keyboard.

Dynamic keyboard, 6 y/o abandonware.
Keyboards are horrible on Android, Apple holds patent for key hitbox prediction sizing so they'll remain horrible till that patent expires.

Gboard would be fine if switching languages wasn't so sluggish. It's really, really bad in that regard.

I've been using swiftkey but it's really starting to annoy me cus you can't turn auto spacing off.

there's an xposed module for swiftkey customization that allows you to disable the auto spacing as well as other modifications
but i don't trust a random xposed module with my keyboard data, swiftkey is firewalled

Especially when paired with word prediction for people who can't tap (like myself).

That sounds great, but now Microsoft knows when you've used the N-word and the F-word.

I use AOSP keyboard, the one that comes with lineageOS. Its horrible yes but i make myself stronger this way
